Forgive the World, Forgive Yourself and Return Home

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Today practice staying in the present moment. Practice welcoming Love in the present moment. As soon as you notice thoughts about the past or the future, hand those those thoughts to Me. I will shine a Light on them and return you to the peace and joy of the present moment. In truth you always reside in eternity, not in time. Time is over and in your heart of hearts you want to return to this awareness.

Be kind to yourself today. Welcome peace and let peace lead the way. Let go of efforting or trying to make things go the way you want. Let go and let God. Let go of control and let yourself be carried today. As you welcome peace, you are led to the quietness of God. You are led Home.

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Seek not to make the world you see your home. It can never satisfy you. Whenever you try to organize events and circumstances to meet what you believe would make you happy, you are trying to make this world your home. You will fail in this attempt because illusion can never be your home.

Your Home is Love. You have never really left your Home, but when you seek to make the world your home, your real Home becomes hidden to you. Instead of knowing the safety and peace of your Home, you have experienced the vulnerability and conflict of the world of separation you made up. Let it go. Forgive the world for what it has never accomplished. Forgive yourself for believing that you could leave your Home.

Your Father has never condemned you and waits with open arms of Love to welcome you Home. Forgive yourself, forgive the world and return to the peace and happiness of the Home where you belong and have never truly left.

Step Back and Let Love Lead the Way

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Awakening requires only a willingness to accept the truth and let go of what is not true. The only reason you do not experience Heaven now is that there are still some illusions you still prefer over the truth. You are not asked to sacrifice illusions you hold dear. But if you want to experience lasting happiness, perfect peace and limitless Love, you must be willing to bring your illusions to Me and let Me show you what is valuable and what is not.

My Love for you is without limit. We are joined in that Love and so I could never bring pain to you. I will gently teach you what is valueless. When you recognize an illusion has no value, you freely let it go with no sense of sacrifice. You will experience pain, sometimes denied and well hidden, whenever you value the nothingness of illusion in place of the infinity of God’s Love. It is this pain that eventually becomes intolerable and brings about a willingness, an openness to find a better way. Thus even pain becomes a gift you give yourself when you use it to turn away from self deception and open your mind to the truth of Love.

Practice today stepping back and letting Love lead the way.

Mary:
Today it is my job to step back and let my inner Comforter lead the way. Today it is my job to receive His peace. In accepting His peace, my mind is transformed.

The meaningless fearful ideas of the ego are shined away as I am willing to receive the gift of peace. Tension melts away and I feel the truth of the statement, “Health is inner peace.” As I truly am willing to accept inner peace, my priorities are shifted. My willingness to remember that I am eternal Spirit in God’s ocean of peace returns. I remember that all is well. I am safe, I am innocent, I am loved, I am Home. I let this remembering be my guide today.

How to Have a Happy Da

Holy Spirit to Robert: 
Love is simple. It does not make distinctions for It sees only oneness, being one Itself. Love’s indiscriminateness blesses all equally.

As you learn to identify with the Love you are, your experience in the world of complexity becomes simpler. You begin to see more and more that there is truly no distinction between one thing or another. You recognize the meaninglessness of form and look past it to the Love which is all meaning. As you rest in the quiet peace of Love, what was made in the world to be conflicted and complex becomes unified and simple.

Let yourself rest in Love’s quiet peace today. Let Love guide all your seeing. Let Love show you the true simplicity of All That is. Love will teach you What you are.

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Today let yourself remember that you rest in God. Let yourself remember What you are and Where you are in Reality. Let Me return your mind to a place of peace and quiet rest.

You are Love immersed in Love. Let yourself feel the truth of Where you are always and have never left. Let Me guide your thoughts today in each present moment. Here you will find peace. This practice will bring you a happy day.

Open the Door

Holy Spirit to Mary:
A willingness to go into a place of quiet listening is a willingness to let your mind be transformed. Forgiveness is a willingness to let go of what you think you made to replace God’s oneness. Unless you allow Me an open space to enter, I cannot come in to your awareness. I wait for your willingness to invite Me in. You invite Me in by allowing time for Me.

I fill your mind with peace when you are willing to open the door. The peace I bring carries your conflicted mind into a state of rest. You must be willing to receive this state of rest. This is how you let go and let God. In this place of open receptivity to the truth, you receive a mind healing. The Light shines away all the false ideas. This is inner health.

This inner willingness brings you the inspiration you need to let your values be changed for you. What was important to the ego mind falls away. The fearful thoughts are replaced with an awareness that everything is all right… all is well… you are safe, no matter what seems to be appearing in the dream of separate bodies. You are filled with a sense of well-being. Your mind is quiet. You know that you are given everything you need to wake up from the dream of separation as your willingness to receive God’s peace grows.

You have one goal now: To accept God’s peace and to extend God’s peace. You are relaxed and extend only Love. As you apply this in your daily life you are given the inspiration you need in the moment to be truly helpful.

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Every moment is a gift you give yourself to awaken to Love. You accept the gift when you use the moment to extend Love. When the moment appears to be a problem, ask the question that Rev. Myron Jones used in her audio book, Healing Family Relationships: “Holy Spirit, how can we use this to undo the ego?”

This question opens your mind to the Holy Spirit’s loving lesson. He will teach you how to use the situation to extend Love. That is the only meaning in anything you do in this world. If you choose to not accept the gift and stay in conflict, the next moment offers another gift. You will continue to be offered the gift of Love in every moment because Love is all there is eternally. The appearance of lack of Love is only the effect of Love’s denial.

Today hold your mind and heart open to the gift offered you in each moment.

Stepping Back into Peace

Robert: 
Today we read in A Course in Miracles Workbook, Lesson 158, that Christ’s vision does not mistake the body for the Son of God. The Son of God is Love and, being one, has no form. To see with Christ’s vision we need to learn to look past all form to the Light of Love. This vision is forgiveness. To see Christ’s vision we must look through forgiving eyes. That means we do not bring the labels and judgments we learned in the past and try to apply them to our perceptions in the present. When we let the present be, without overlaying the past on it, Christ’s vision shows us the Light of Love that is there. Thus, to have this clear vision of the Light of the Son of God, we must free ourselves of the past; in other words, we must forgive it.

Today is another opportunity to practice stepping back and opening my heart and mind to peace. In peace there can be no judgment. In peace I am open to the Holy Spirit’s gentle teaching that shows me the past is gone and is not here. In peace I see the Light of God’s Son, free of the shadows of the past. In peace I experience the Light of God’s Son in all that I see and I recognize It as my Self.

Mary:
As I start my day, the question I ask myself is, “Am I willing to put God first today?” If I am truly willing to put God first, I will accept God’s gifts of peace and Christ’s vision. How my day goes depends on my willingness to accept what has already been given me. Am I willing to step back and receive Holy Spirit’s inspiration in quiet? Or will I replay the old past habit of deciding things on my own? Am I making what I see through the body’s eyes real? Or am I willing to let the Holy Spirit show me the constant Love and peace of God that lie beyond all illusions of separation. Which will I choose today?

Today I am being blessed with another day of practice. My constant focus today is to remember to step back and choose with Holy Spirit. Then today will be filled with peace, joy and gratitude for the opportunity of joining with the Holy Spirit’s one purpose of forgiving the dream of separation and remembering what is forever true.

Quiet Listening

Mary:
I have been doing the audio clean up for Jon Mundy’s seminar on mysticism. In this seminar Jon talks about the Trappist monks who, as part of their way of life, do not speak unless absolutely needed. Jon tells us in the workshop that these monks have found it very valuable to allow an open space in their minds for quietness. They have found the gifts of peace and understanding that quietness brings.

In this workshop Jon shares with us that in our process of awakening, we too will open up to the gifts that quietness brings. The Holy Spirit is there. In A Course in Miracles we are told that with peace comes understanding. We are told that we are either joining with the ego’s world of separation or we are joined with Holy Spirit’s knowing of oneness. Through allowing time of quiet we find the Holy Spirit is there, waiting to be our Guide. The Holy Spirit guides us to a total thought reversal where we feel the knowing of oneness that never changes. This cannot be taught with words. It can only be taught by the Teacher within as we are willing to be quiet and listen.

I am finding that as my willingness to follow Holy Spirit grows, that allowing time for quietness is more and more important. There is such happiness there. There is such peace. There is such understanding. I see that I am truly blessed and that everyone is there with me. I see that nothing has happened to change God’s one Son. I see that we are still in Heaven and have never left, no matter what raucous dreams we get involved with in our minds. In quietness we see that we are safe. We are Home. We are innocent and we are loving and loved eternally.

Robert:
Today I would step back and let Love lead the way in every present moment.

Holy Spirit to Dorie:  So many times you have used a multitude of words as a screen for defense. Now you are learning, that in hearing others, you hear the truth of their walk with Me. As you listen to others and to Me, you both receive healing. You both see the path you will both share in your journey to peace.  There is no separation. There is just one Son.

A Willingness Check In

Mary:
Am I willing to remember the truth today? Am I willing to remember the truth of What I am and Where I am eternally? This is my willingness check-in as I begin my day. Am I truly willing to step back and receive God’s peace? Or do I choose instead the ego thought system that makes separate bodies appear to be real? I have to honestly look at my willingness right now because I find that the temptation to join with believing in a world of separation seems very strong.

The Course tells me that I need just a little willingness. That is all the Holy Spirit needs. It is the Holy Spirit Who does the rest. Right now I just focus on relaxing and letting go of all I think I know. This helps me to open my mind to receive God’s gift of peace which helps to wash away all the doubts in my mind. I soften more and relax a little more, letting go just a little more.

I know that beyond this world is a world I want. I know that the real world the Holy Spirt brings brings me peace and happiness. The presence of my inner Comforter grows stronger as my focus continues to stay on accepting Holy Spirit’s help. I look at my barriers to accepting Love’s Presence with Holy Spirit. We rest a while together.

My fears about the future come up and I willingly hand them over to the Holy Spirit. I observe with Holy Spirit as they are gently washed away. I see the futility of holding on to these thoughts. I see that I no longer need them. The feeling of rest and a peace beyond this world grows stronger. I gradually allow the awareness of Love’s Presence to grow stronger.

I am reminded how important it is to let the Holy Spirit do Its job. My job is to have a little willingness. I focus on letting the veil of separation be lifted. I am now aware that in truth, the Light of Christ is all there is to see. The feeling of peace replaces everything that I thought before. I am on the bridge of return to the truth because I am willing to be there. I see that all is safe because nothing has happened to change God’s one Son.

Accepting God’s peace is my one goal. Through accepting peace, the truth of What I am and Where I am always is revealed and everyone that I have perceived in the dream is there with me. Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.

I find that it is very helpful to start the day with a willingness check in.

Robert: 
Today I dedicate once again to letting the Holy Spirit be my Guide in all my thoughts, decisions and actions. It is this practice that will carry me forward on my journey of awakening.
