We Follow Love’s Lead

Our true Identity is Love and inherent in Love is God’s peace and joy. We can tell if we are following Love’s lead by the level of peace and joy we feel as we go through our day. We step back frequently today and remember our purpose of following Love’s lead. We join with the Mind of Love and let It heal all false thought patterns that create fear and a sense of being separate from others. We follow Love’s lead today.

Being Willing to Be Happy

To be happy, we need to let go of the wish to be unhappy. To wish to be a separate identity, with private thoughts and a “life” we can call our own is the wish to be separate from the Source of all happiness. Happiness and joy are attributes of Love. The choice to be separate from the Source of Love is the denial of happiness.

Thus the antidote for unhappiness is to choose to accept that we remain one with Love, our Source. To let go of our mistaken choices for separation, we need to let the Holy Spirit guide all our thoughts, all our perceptions, all our actions.

The willingness to do this comes with the recognition that of ourselves alone, we know nothing. This is how we disconnect from the ego thought system as our mechanism of choice and make way for the Holy Spirit’s thought system of oneness to be our Guide in all things. Today is a happy day of practice in letting the Holy Spirit be our Guide in all things.

Letting Holy Spirit Be Our Constant Companion

We have a constant Companion waiting to help us, whether we realize it or not. We are now learning to accept our true Self’s guidance, that we may free ourselves from the limitations of the ego thought system. Our true Self guides us to see past the illusory images of the ego. Our true Self shows us the images of separation we see are not true. Our true Self guides us past the images of separation to the awareness of oneness that is our true, eternal Nature.

Today we focus on allowing ourselves to be helped by our constant Companion, the Holy Spirit. We relinquish our need to bring the past to the present. We come with an open mind to be given a new perception of all we see. As our minds are transformed, we are brought to the awareness of the peace, Love and joy that is inherent in our eternal Nature as Love.

Relax, Let Go, and Let God

We all have the power of Love residing in our mind. We use that power when we consistently relax, let go and let God. Let God means let Love flow through all our thoughts. As we are willing to let all our thoughts be purified with God’s Love, we are freed from the limiting, depressing and painful experience of carrying the ego’s heavy load of guilt and fear.

Today is a day of reinforcing our freedom as we practice relaxing, letting go of the ego’s tyrannical thoughts and letting Love cleanse our mind of limiting ego thoughts. Our only purpose today is to relax… let go… and let Love extend through us…

Today I Choose to Listen to My True Self

What is this world of countless forms but a choice to see separation? It is the Holy Spirit in my mind That shows me the difference between the real and unreal. It is the Holy Spirit That shows me what is true and what is false. Today I choose to be led by the Truth in my mind so that I may see the difference between the real and the unreal.

The Holy Spirit lifts the veil of forms and shows me the oneness of Love’s Presence behind the constantly shifting sands of separation. Today I practice choosing with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Christ’s vision is all I want to see today. I am willing to accept the gifts It brings.

Seeing Beyond Appearances

‘I rest in God.’ This thought will bring to you the rest and quiet, peace and stillness, and the safety and the happiness you seek. ‘I rest in God.’ This thought has power to wake the sleeping truth in you, whose vision sees beyond appearances to that same truth in everyone and everything there is. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.109.2:1-4)

Today is a day to see beyond appearances. We make way for this by letting ourselves rest in God. God knows us as Himself. As we let ourselves rest in Him, we remember His peace. His joy comes with it to fill our being. His vision shows us the truth behind the appearances of the world.

We rest today in His Love and see His Love everywhere as appearances fade away. We invite our brothers to join us in this rest, remembering that together we are God’s Love and there is nothing outside of It. We see beyond all appearances as we rest in God.

Sharing Holy Spirit’s Peace and Blessings

We dedicate today to being messengers of Holy Spirit’s peace. To do this we are willing to accept Holy Spirit’s gift of peace. We set aside our judgments, which bring conflict, and open our minds to see with Holy Spirit’s vision.

As we do this we see past appearances to the true Self in everyone. We join with them in the oneness of Love, which brings with it the gift of peace. Because we cherish peace above all else, we are willing to turn our judgments over to the Holy Spirit and join with the Him, our one Self that we share with all. In this we are blessed and we extend the blessing.
