The Only Thoughts We Share with God

Your Self retains Its Thoughts, and they remain within your mind and in the Mind of God. The Holy Spirit holds salvation in your mind, and offers it the way to peace. Salvation is a thought you share with God…

Salvation comes from [your] one Self through Him [Holy Spirit] Who is the Bridge between your mind and It. Wait patiently, and let Him speak to you about your Self, and what your mind can do, restored to It and free to serve Its Will.

Begin with saying this:

Salvation comes from my one Self. Its Thoughts are mine to use.

Then seek Its Thoughts, and claim them as your own. These are your own real thoughts you have denied, and let your mind go wandering in a world of dreams, to find illusions in their place. Here are your thoughts, the only ones you have. Salvation is among them; find it there. (A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 96, W-pI.96.7:1-3;8:3-9:7. See also ACIM Lesson 96 Insights.)

Our only real Thoughts are Thoughts we share with God. They are Thoughts that extend Love just as we are God’s Thought of extending Himself. Only Thoughts of Love are real. They are the only Thoughts we share with God.

In the ego’s dream of separation, we seem to have private thoughts, separate and distinct from everyone else. But these are just dream images and the dream is not real. It is this dream of separation from which we need to be saved. The Holy Spirit in our mind is the Bridge to help us return to the loving Thoughts of unity that our one Self shares with God.

Today we practice holding our mind open to the Holy Spirit’s help to recognize the Thoughts of Love already in our mind, which have been hidden behind the veil of the dream. If we let Him, His Light will dispel the veil and awaken us to the loving Thoughts we share with God.
