Watching My Thoughts

Robert:
Yesterday was a good learning day. I remembered several times during the day to step back from the project I was working on and allow peace to return to my mind. The project progressed well. Because of this practice, I did not go down the blind alleys and dead end streets that come with following the ego’s goal of seek and do not find.

To an observer, it may have looked like I was using a lot of trial and error. But compared to other times when I did not take time to step back, what appeared to be trial and error was more allowing myself to see the next helpful step. Each “trial” was a step toward accomplishing what needed to be done. This lesson is very valuable and can be applied to all aspects of my dream life. The more I practice stepping back and opening to Spirit’s lead, the more quickly I recognize what is helpful and the less I am distracted by meaningless seeking and not finding.

While it could be said I learned about using the software, that was merely the setting for learning the important lesson that I can trust Holy Spirit to lead me Home. That is where I truly want to be and I am grateful that I have the means to find my way. I will practice again today.

Mary:
Today it is my job to let it sink in deeper that only Love is real. As I go through my day, my job is to watch the thoughts that I am still clinging to that don’t come from my Source. My job is to see them clearly for what they are and allow the Holy Spirit to shine them away.

My job today is to be open to allowing the peace of my one Self into my mind. I give thanks that so much help is available to me as I am willing to receive it. My opportunity again is to let go and let God. Here is where all happiness resides. Here is where I remember to laugh at the ego’s silly antics. I choose to laugh a lot today.
