United in Love

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Remember that your job is to let yourself be guided today. Let go of the past and the future. Let yourself be guided in the present moment.

Let yourself remember that God’s Son is one, united with his Creator. Let yourself remember that there are not separate selves — only one Self united as on in God’s Love. Let your mind be filled with this truth today. Rest in God’s united Love. This makes it a smooth and happy day.

Holy Spirit to Robert:
In the world there is the appearance of an event of great destruction, death, pain, suffering and loss. It is yet another form of the ego thought system that denies the unity of Love and eternal Life. It is another form of a call for Love that is inevitable in the ego thought system that denies Love. The truth in you has but one response — to offer Love.

In the world of form this eternal Love may be expressed in form so it can be accepted. Around the world the call for Love has been recognized and many are responding with offerings of Love in many forms. As in all things, the Holy Spirit can use this appearance of loss on behalf of recognizing the Love you share.

As you join with the Holy Spirit in your mind you are guided to be truly helpful. You are guided as to the form within the dream that is most helpful. The key in all things is that Love is your motivation and inspiration. Love does not see death. Love does not see destruction and separation. Love sees only Itself and recognizes when there is a call to remember Love. Let today be a day of letting Love guide all your doing.

Space for Quietness

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Today allow the space for quietness. Allow room in your mind for quietness. Listen to the Light. Let your focus be on being receptive to your true Nature. Listen, and be open to receive.

Let yourself remember that in quietness is every problem quietly resolved. Return again and again and again to quiet listening. Invite the Light of peace into your mind and give it a home. Make room for peace. Let peace lead you all through the day.

Holy Spirit to Robert:
See only innocence today. Remember that everyone is doing the best they can according to what they believe they are. And everyone includes you. This means that judgment is never justified. Rather, as you remember to see the innocence of Love that is the truth in everyone, you teach yourself and the world to overlook false images and see the reality of Love.

This is how the world is undone and you return your holy mind to your Home in Heaven. This is not a trivial exercise. This practice will bring you freedom from the world of fear, pain and death. It will bring you perfect happiness and the peace of God.

God Is But Love and Therefore So Am I

Robert:
One of the most frequently repeated statements in A Course in Miracles is: “God is but Love, and therefore so am I.” The full acceptance of this as true and nothing else as true would bring the end of illusion and the return Home to Heaven.

As I look at another through the body’s eyes, I can affirm, “God is but Love and therefore so are you.” This can help me remember the truth about my brother and myself. It is seeing the one Self we share. In truth there is no other to call “you.” But while I think I am in this world looking out through the body’s eyes, remembering that God is but Love and therefore so are you helps me step back from identifying anyone as a body or an image.

This statement, fully accepted, offers complete release from the illusionary world of separation. Only Love is real. That is why God is in everything I see. What the body’s eyes show me is not real. But the reality of Love is always there whether or not I distract myself with false images.

Today I will carry with me the thought, “God is but Love and therefore so am I.” As I apply this thought to everyone and every circumstance, I release myself to the freedom of Heaven. I clear the way to receive God’s peace. I give thanks.

Mary:
Because I am still as God created me, I rest in God today. I cannot be in truth anywhere else but in God. I remember this about myself when I remember it about every brother. Everyone rests in God eternally. Remembering this is my practice today.

Accept Happiness

Mary:
Laughter is easy when the world is not taken too seriously. The world of separate bodies is just a projection and could never be true.

Today we are in the process of moving. I can use this process as a symbol of moving from believing in separation to the awareness that only oneness is real. Today is a day of accepting the inner happiness that the Holy Spirit brings. Today is a day of song and laughter. What a happy day joined with Holy Spirit’s purpose!

Robert:
The less attached I am to things, circumstances and events, the happier I am. Things, circumstances and events are all images that reflect belief in separation. Love is not an image. It is formless, eternal and everywhere. Love is all I really want. Love is not selective, but all inclusive.

It is not a sacrifice to let go of attachment to things and circumstances. It is release that makes way for the return to Love. There is nothing more I really desire than to be the Love I was created to be. I have made up false desires that interfere with experiencing what I really want. It is these false desires, idle wishes, that I want to let go. This is forgiveness. Through forgiveness I accept God’s gift. Through forgiveness I accept peace. Through forgiveness I accept happiness. “Let go and let God” can be restated as “forgive and be happy.”

Today I will practice walking with Holy Spirit and sharing His perception. Thus will I learn to look past appearances and experience the happiness that God holds for me.

Peace Beyond This World

Robert:
Saying “I want the peace of God” is the same as saying “I want to be my Self.” This Self remains as It was created, sharing all the attributes of God. There is not one in the world who does not feel a yearning deep in their heart to rejoin with this Self. It is the basis for all attempts to find happiness in this world. When we are following the ego, our attempts to find happiness are misdirected to look to form to make us happy. The ego is oblivious to real content, which is Love. It only “trusts” in form, which is the ego’s mechanism for making separation appear real.

But the underlying motivation to seek is still the desire to return Home. We need only to learn where to look to find it. By the grace of God, we have within our minds the Teacher Who provides us kind and gentle lessons in every moment that lead us to where we truly want to be. We need only be willing to accept His lessons.

Today I dedicate to holding an open mind and heart to be shown the Love behind all appearances. Thus will I remember my Self.

Mary:
As I go to the quiet place in my mind this morning, I am reminded that the world I see is a projection that is coming from my mind. I am gently reminded to look at the world with the Holy Spirit. I am reminded to let the veil be lifted so that I can feel the Love that is behind all physical form. Love’s Presence, Which lies beyond all physical form, is the strength in which I trust. This is where my safety lies. This is where I truly reside.

Today I have the opportunity to open up to the peace that lies beyond this world. I have an opportunity to rest in God’s peace while still taking care of my daily chores. My constant Companion will show me the truth if I will allow it today. This is my practice today, and I give thanks for this opportunity to let the truth return to my mind.

There Is No Love but God’s

Robert:
There is no Love but God’s. This thought brings me comfort and joy and gratitude. Since God is everywhere I know that His Love is always with me. I walk with Love in every moment. Since God is one and formless, I do not need to look for any form for comfort or for assurance that I am loved. I need only look within for the Love that is the Self I share with all.

Like God, that Love is everywhere. It is there to be recognized in everyone and everything. But I will not recognize the Love if I confuse images and forms with formless Love. If I am willing to abandon my own attempts to interpret anything and let the Holy Spirit be my interpreter, He will teach me to look beyond all images and recognize the Love. He will teach me that God is in everything I see by teaching me to overlook form and accept the reality of Love that is ever present.

Today I will remind myself frequently that there is no Love but God’s. As the body’s eyes show me images of people, places and things, I will let the Love that is real shine through. With this practice I will learn of the Love I am. I will remember that I am always at Home in the Heaven of Love.

Mary:
Today my practice is to let go and let God. This means to let go of trying to figure anything out on my own. This means stepping back and listening. This means opening my mind to receive God’s peace until it fills every corner of my mind. This is how I am to be of service today.

Be Happy

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Be happy today. Don’t take the world too seriously. Remember you are one Self, united with your Creator. Remember Where you came from and what is the truth about you now.

There is only one united Self. That is the truth. Allow the veil to be lifted so this memory can return. Let yourself be carried by the Light of Love today. Let the happiness be that is innately yours fill your experience with peace and Love.

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Quiet joy and deep peace are your natural state, for they are the conditions of Heaven. You believe you have wandered far astray and the memory of your Home seems to have faded away. Yet there is within your heart a Call that persists, no matter how far you believe you have wandered or what you believe you have done. This Call will never die, for it is the call of your Self. Its call is a song of joy, for It would remind you of Home.

You yearn to return to this place of quiet joy and deep peace. All your searching in the world is but an attempt to find the Home you believe you have lost. Search no more. Your Home is in you. Open your heart to the song of joy. Let it draw you to your Self. Let it guide you Home.

You need do no more than be willing to give up the false idea of what you are and make way for the full recognition of your Self That remains one with your Creator. Here you find a joyous welcome, for you return to your true Home.
