I’ll Ask

Peace is my heart’s desire, And so…
I’ll ask.
When little things get me down,
and frustration comes around,
I’ll ask for peace.

I’ll ask.
When things don’t go my way,
or plans I lay must change,
I’ll ask the angels of my Higher Self,
for peace.

When folds I know are mean,
or in a funky mood, when money’s tight,
and I can’t get the household finance right,
when work piles up,
and I can’t see the end,
when endless, cloudy days surround me,
when I’m injured, and waiting for the wound to mend,
when the home team loses the big game on Sunday afternoon,
when a dear friend passes away,
many years too soon,

Whenever the world tempts me,
in any way at all,
I’ll ask my Higher Nature for peace

And peace will be given,
sufficient for the day.

Peace is my heart’s desire, And so…
I’ll ask.

Healing Through Service

For the past few months we have been spending much of our time doing the post-production audio and video work for two remarkably healing three and four day workshops given last summer at Pathways of Light, plus a very helpful audio book on healing family relationships written and narrated by Rev. Myron Jones.

The sale of the property in Kiel, Wisconsin, has not yet occurred, so we are receiving the opportunity to strengthen our trust muscles. It was not a coincidence that the four day workshop by Nouk Sanchez and Tomas Vieira was all about the six stages in the development of trust discussed in the Manual for Teachers.

We feel that Holy Spirit gave us one of the greatest gifts possible when we were given the opportunity of preparing these eight life-changing DVD’s for people to view in their own homes and practice for themselves what everyone experienced who came to the workshop. We felt like two of the most fortunate people on earth to have the content of this powerful four day workshop, “Undoing the Ego II — Taking It to a Deeper Level,” reinforced day in and day out.

Nouk and Tomas shared with everyone that they were given this workshop by the Holy Spirit to further the healing of their own mind and that their healing would increase even more as the whole group did the work together. The participants who shared in deep honesty and sincerity not only helped all of us in their sharing but also reinforced their own commitment to awakening to the truth.

As we worked on each hour of this workshop, our level of trust was strengthened and reinforced. We were filled with gratitude to witness the deeply honest sharing of so many committed people willing to look at their barriers to Love and share their process of relinquishing the ego. Remarkably, they shared at deep levels while it was being videotaped for us all to witness and be healed by their demonstration of taking it all to Holy Spirit for healing.

We feel great gratitude to do our part in Holy Spirit’s plan of making this awesome four day workshop available to you and all ACIM students to view again and again. As we witnessed many times in our production process, the development of trust content was perfect for us during these past few months. We really do get all the help we need to support our awakening as we truly want it.

We wish to thank Nouk Sanchez and Tomas Vieira for their quiet listening to Holy Spirit as they led us ever so gently in this remarkably healing workshop. Their willingness to openly share intimate experiences from their personal process of learning to apply the Course in their lives inspired everyone present. It is a wonderful example of teaching by demonstration that can accelerate healing for us all.

I Accept My Father’s Gifts

I attended the “ON” workshop at Pathways of Light, Kiel. Holy Spirit was truly in charge of the weekend experience. 

In one process, we were shown a large tray covered with many small boxes, lovingly wrapped and ribboned. These represented God’s gifts to us. We were asked to take one, read the slip tucked under its ribbon, then return it to the tray, and write down our gift. Once everyone had their gift, we were to write what our life would be like if we completely accepted that gift.  My gift was trust. The following was what came to mind.

When I trust, I am filled with peace. With trust, there is no conflict in my thoughts. The valueless thoughts are recognized as the ego ploys/decoys to distract me. With trust, I need no defense. I remember that by myself I know nothing and with Holy Spirit I am given all that is appropriate and helpful and kind. With trust, I know I have exactly what I need when I need it. With trust, fear is impossible to keep. 

How would my life be?

With trust, life would not be struggle. My life would be without fear, without doubt. When I might notice another thought rising up to be healed, I would not push it away, for trust would give me the courage to look at that thought with Holy Spirit. I would remember that there is no loss with Holy Spirit. 

My life would be calm, not frantic with trying to anticipate what is needed “next.” Life would be seen as lessons and blessings in each experience. With trust, life is the experience of mind healing; one continuous blessing, miracle upon miracle, overflowing mind healing.

I would no longer have concern whether I am good enough/ worthy of all that is given to me. There would be no fear that I was guilty of some undefined “sin.” I would be free of the uncertainty of innocence in me and others. In trust I would recognize the godliness (holiness) in everything, no matter the form it takes.

How would I use the gift of trust?

I would share my healed mind, the blessing from Holy Spirit. I would see my brothers in their holiness (wholeness) and remember we are one. When I remember that my brother is one with me, there is no conflict, no difference, no fear. 

I learned that one gift is merely the symbol of All attributes of Love. When I totally, wholly accept one gift, it is the equivalent of accepting all God’s gifts. Accepting one gift completely is the remembrance that I remain as Love created me. I am thankful for this healing experience.
