The Spanish translation is definitely a Love project! We are overjoyed that we have completed the translation of the first 15 courses of the Ministerial Curriculum.
For the last two steps (2 and 3), we’ve had the unconditional participation of Rev. Yvelise Fingerhut, O.M.C., who was ordained this May and has gifted us with her excellent work.
We have also received much help and encouragement from Rev. Ana María Peñate, O.M.C. from the Canary Islands. I have the privilege of translating, recording and editing in this project of Love, and I am honored to be doing so.
And what can I say about Mary… she is the angel that puts all this together! Of course with the help of Robert and Sharyn. Thanks to all of you! Holy Spirit has chosen us and guided us every step of the way. How can Love fail? It never has and never will. It is all holy success in action!
The most important aspect of the Spanish Program, that has also been miraculous and led by Love, are the people who this translation is for, our students. And the pioneers of this are 20 devoted and committed students whose first language is Spanish and have come to us from Puerto Rico, Florida, New York, Ohio and Iowa.
Love has definitely brought them to Pathways, and Love has blessed my personal encounter with each of them.
They are:
From Puerto Rico: Sarah Rivera, Elena Diaz, Edid Toro, Nelia Flores, Irene Sumaza, Celeste Rivera, María Cameron, Annie García, Maribel Márquez, Nelly Torres, Beatriz Palmer, and Gilda Rodriguez.
From Florida are Johannys Hartog and Rev. Yvelise Fingerhut.
From New York are Awilda Rosario, Yvette Fuentes, Quiara Escobar, and Ramona Arvelo.
From Ohio is Carmen Carrasquillo.
And from Iowa is Claudia Gilson.
When the translation is completed, the Ministerial Courses in Spanish will be presented on the Pathways of Light web site and our program will definitely grow and multiply. And as all projects guided by Holy Spirit in perfect synchronicity, we will have our first group of Spanish speaking ministers being ordained almost simultaneously with the completion of the translation work.
In terms of further expansion of our program, Pathways of Light courses in Spanish will soon be advertised by Johannys Hartog and myself in various cities: San Juan, Puerto Rico, Miami, Florida and Charleston, South Carolina in the Natural Awakenings Magazine which is a free publication distributed in about 50 cities in the US and Puerto Rico.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to continue serving, growing, healing and awakening to the Oneness of our Being, in English, in Spanish and in all the languages Holy Spirit chooses to translate the powerful message Pathways of Light communicates.
Love and success to All!

I turn to God and there I find my guidance. Today, this is my perfect lesson. Lesson 261 — God is my refuge and security. The following words tell me what I need to know right now.
I live in God. In Him I find my refuge and my strength. In Him is my Identity. In Him is everlasting peace. And only there will I remember Who I really am. W-p II.261.1:4-8
I could not have more direct guidance. These words fill my heart. I am thinking to myself that “Spirit’s messages are timeless” as I remember back to a time in my life when what appeared real to me was offering me an amazing lesson. My experience brought me to a place where I knew and felt that love was and would hold me strong. In those days, Spirit guided me even though I was not consciously aware that it was Spirit through me. This is the message that was given to me then.
Take One More Step
Take one more step.
Now do not question where you are going.
Take one more step in faith
Take one more step in life becoming
What your truth unfolds.
Take one more step.
I’m telling you that Love —
It is the center of whatever way you go.
Take one more step and
Love will hold you strong, I know.
Deep within my self I had found my refuge and my security. Unknown to me at the time, I was connecting to my truth, the truth of whom I am, the center of Love within me that holds me strong. It is a process of remembering and forgetting.
Today I find myself in the middle of something that is not about me yet my ego would rise to the occasion, feeling discomfort and uneasy. So I would ask, this time consciously, for Spirit to illuminate my mind. And the words that comfort my soul, once again, guide me to remember that I am held strong in Love. And as I opened to Lesson 261, I opened to this Holy Instant of remembering that, “I live in God. In Him I find my refuge and my strength. In Him is my Identity. In Him is everlasting peace. And only there will I remember who I really am.” This is all I need to know. The center of my world is the center of Love within me. My identity is the truth of Love. This is the correction in this mind healing work. And in this I return to peace and to Love. At times like this, I question and I wonder. I am aware that all I need to know is Love.
So
As you are talking,
keep on walking.
Love is holding you.
Take one more step.
Trust where you are going.
Love is holding you.
I know.
Spirit guides me to trust and to Love.
With every step, I walk to God.

“I want the peace of God. To say these words is nothing. To mean these words is everything.”
“The peace of God is realized and accepted based upon the power of your own decision. It is up to you. You may choose the peace of God, and you may choose turmoil. You make your choice based upon the desire that seems dearest to you.”
I realize that I am just repeating sentences from A Course in Miracles and NTI, but these sentences are worth repeating, because fully accepting these sentences changes everything.
Yesterday, Laurent was my hero. He was my hero because I observed him as he very clearly chose the peace of God over other desires that seemed to be available to him in the moment. There was something he needed my help on. He had made a commitment to someone else, and in order to keep the commitment he needed my help. I felt I had too many commitments to others already and I did not feel that I could commit to helping him in the timeframe needed. There were already others who had been waiting patiently for me to get to them; some have been waiting weeks.
Laurent was in a situation that I can empathise with, because I am one who likes to keep commitments. He could very easily have hated me for not committing to helping him, and maybe those thoughts crossed his mind. However if they did, he did not choose to listen to them. I watched him as he put his personal desire to keep the commitment aside, accepted the situation as it was, released all bad feelings about it, and moved forward from there. He wrote to the people he had a commitment with and explained that he could not keep it. He offered alternatives that might be helpful to them. Then he got up from his seat and helped me with part of what I needed to get done. And he did all of this very, very happily.
Laurent was my hero last night because he was a symbol of the choice I want to make in every moment. Laurent chose not to listen to ego; he chose instead to choose the peace of God.
Thank you, love, for setting such a wonderful example.

Recently I had an experience that filled me with gratitude for the inspiration from Holy Spirit. One of the things that needed to be done as part of preparing the house for sale was to fill an 8 inch hole in a basement concrete block wall.
I went to a nearby building supply store to purchase mortar mix several months ago. I asked the store associate what he recommended for what I was trying to do. He directed me to the material I needed and then gave some tips on how to do it. First he said to get some rocks or bricks or whatever I could use to fill the space so I wouldn’t have to fill it all with mortar. Then he told me that after I had put on the finishing layer, to come back about an hour and a half later and rub it with a rag to loosen the surface to give it a texture similar to the concrete block around it. He said, “I know this works because I was a union master mason for 30 years.” I left the store with gratitude for the connection with this resource that could help me do something I had never done before.
It was several months before I actually got to the project. More than 30 years ago I had helped lay a concrete block privacy wall, but that was the extent of my experience in working with mortar. I knew that the amount of water added to the mix was very important. Too little and it would be crumbly and difficult to get to stay in place. Too much water would make the mix soft so that it would tend to slump or sag. But I didn’t know from memory what it would look like if the mixture was correct.
As I prepared the mix, I practiced staying in peace. I added water until it seemed right. When I used the mortar, it worked perfectly. The first step in filling the holes was putting in the brick and stones with the mortar to hold everything in place and fill the inner part of the hole. The second step was to add mortar and fill it to about a half-inch from the surface of the wall.
Again I practiced staying in peace as I prepared the mix and added the mortar to the hole. In these first two stages I used a tool that was a little too small for the finishing stage. I knew I had a larger one but was not able to find it. When I started preparing for the final step, my eyes were drawn to a shelf, and I saw the tool I needed. In my mind I said, “Thank You.”
Again I practiced staying in peace as I mixed the final batch of mortar. This time I felt to add a little more water than I had the first two times. An image came to me for how to hold the trowel and apply the mortar to the hole. It worked beautifully and smoothly. When I was done, my heart was filled with gratitude for Holy Spirit’s guidance as I cleaned the tools.
I planned to wait an hour and a half according to the directions I remembered. It was dinner time so I ate dinner and completely forgot about needing to go back. About two hours later Spirit reminded me of what remained to be done. So I went back to the patch and used the technique I had been told about. It worked perfectly. And once again I was filled with gratitude.
There is no way the patch would have been as well finished if I had done all the planning on my own. To me this experience was a demonstration that I am not alone. It was not about a good patch. It was about the practice of stepping back, letting go of control and following.
It was truly a lesson that I need care for nothing because all that I need is provided, even at the level of the dream. Because I did not try to do it on my own, it was a lesson in joining. It is an example that all things can be lessons in awakening.
