ACIM Lesson 40 2025

My contemplation of Lesson 40
I am blessed as a Son of God.

This is a simple and happy lesson. The only part that might be a problem is remembering to do it every 10 minutes. I doubt that I will, but that’s OK. I will, without judgment, notice when I have forgotten and do it then. I am reminded of this from Chapter 14.II.1.4 ...guilt is interference, not salvation, and serves no useful function at all.

I very much appreciated yesterday’s lesson: My holiness is my salvation. In fact, I had a restless night’s sleep and woke up out of sorts. So, I lay there and did that lesson. I thought of my unloving thoughts and reminded myself that my holiness was my salvation. I thought about how my belief in the body/world was the problem. But that is not me. My mind is part of God’s. I am very holy. Holiness is my reality, and as I remember that, I am saved.

So, today’s lesson is a perfect follow-up. I am blessed as a Son of God. As a Son of God, my holiness keeps me safe from these foolish, unloving thoughts. I happily proclaim the truth of my being instead. I am blessed as a Son of God. I gratefully practice this lesson. I could never be guilty because I am blessed as a Son of God with innocence. I could never want to see anyone else as guilty because I am blessed as one with God and all His creations.

I am blessed as a Son of God.
