WB Lesson 192 Cliffsnotes

(This is what stood out to me in Workbook lesson 192.)

I have a function God would have me fill.

Creation has no meaning in the world and cannot even be conceived of here. Forgiveness is the closest creation or Love can come to earth.

Forgiveness represents your function here.
Forgiveness: gently looks on all things unknown in Heaven; leaves the world clean of senseless symbols; makes the mind clean for the Word of God; overcomes the belief in death; lets the body be perceived as it is, a simple teaching aid, to be used by the holy Self to extend love.

Only forgiveness can: relieve the mind of thinking the body is its home; restore the peace God intended for His holy Son; persuade the Son to look on his holiness.

We have been given everything by God and need forgiveness to perceive that it is so. Without forgiveness’ light we grope in the dark, using reason to justify our rage, attack and the worship of what is not real. He who has forgiven everyone he sees, thinks of, or imagines, is born again in Christ. Release and you are made free.

Every time you feel anger, from mild irritation to burning rage, realize you hold a sword above your head. And it will be fall or be averted as you choose to be condemned or free. Thus who seems to tempt you to be angry represents your savior from the dream of separation and death.

My Only Purpose

These thoughts came to me:

My only purpose here is to let go of the thoughts of separation. These are the thoughts that hurt me and bind me to illusion. The false thought system that I made (with my belief) is easily, painlessly undone when I want only truth or love. A thought system built on a lies cannot withstand the power or energy of truth. Only truth is true. There is only Love.

The ego system will do anything to keep me from turning inward and going to peace. It does not know peace and therefore can not use it against me. It tries to tempt me, scare me, or fool me to dissuade me from choosing peace. For in peace I find the truth of what I am and everyone is. In peace the false is erased, and I accept truth in its place. In peace I receive and give the gifts I am given. With peace there is no room for fear; understanding shines away the dark. In peace I am the gift of God, sharing truth, seeing innocence, remembering Love.

WB Lesson 189 Cliffsnotes

I feel the Love of God within me now.

The light within me is the reflection of the Love of God that is within me. It was placed within me not to be kept hidden from my sight.

What would you see? You look upon that which you feel [think] within. Today we pass illusions as we seek to reach what is true in us.

Simply do this: Be still and lay aside all thoughts of what you are and what God is; all concepts you have learned about the world; all images you hold about yourself. Empty your mind of everything; hold onto nothing. Do not bring with you one thought the past has taught, nor one belief you ever learned from anything. Forget this world, forget this course, and come with wholly empty hands unto your God.

You need not know the way to Him, He knows the way to you. Your part is simply to allow all obstacles [beliefs] you put between the Son and God the Father to be quietly removed forever. We choose to let Him come, and with this choice we rest. God knows His Son and knows the way to him. Through every open heart His Love shines outward from its Home within, and lightens up the world in innocence. 
And I give thanks.

My Willingness

These thoughts came to me today:

I am willing to let go of all past decisions.
My choices have brought everything to me. My previous choices have not made me happy.        I am willing to choose differently. I am willing to let the Source of Love make all decisions for me.

In this way I will be happy. In this way I have everything I want, and recognize the truth that Love surrounds me and no thing can part me from Love. In this way I accept my oneness with Love.

My Father, I relinquish my foolish thoughts of uniqueness, and specialness. Thy Will be done and I will to remember You. I have not changed reality and would be Home today. Your Son loves You, and I am Your Son. Amen.

Ego Does Not Know

Spirit gave these thoughts to me today:

The ego does not know anything!

A thought system that values the false cannot be real.

Reality comes only from Love; anything not of Love is not real and does not exist. Yet in your mind there appeared for an instant a mad idea, and that begot the insane system that bore the idea and belief of separation. This is not what you truly want and this is not you.

You are only as Love created you. Forget not your Source. Your sane Teacher leads you through a curriculum for healing. All fear thoughts are removed in His beneficent light. Within Love there is no fear, this is your true Home. Seek only this and you will not fail. What is already your is simply waiting your recognition and acceptance.

Peace be to you, holy Child of God. Choose peace and all else is given you. Choose peace and you are at Home.
