WB Lesson 40

I am blessed as a Son of God.

What does this lesson mean to me?
~~God loves His Son without limit. God shares with or gives everything to His Son. His Son can have no cares or worries. God is everywhere, His Son is never without God’s Love. God’s Son is safe, secure, healed and whole.

The Oxford American dictionary defines “blessed” as endowed with divine favor and protection. God’s Son has divine favor and protection means to me that even his errant thoughts cannot have effect in reality. He can (and does) mistake his thoughts as real and forgets that he has made a dream of separation. And I have been given a key to wake from the dream. I have within my mind the Voice of Love to guide me, to shine the Light to dispel the darkness. This Guide will show me that only Love is real and there is nothing to fear, and that God is Love. And that I am Love and nothing else.

In practicing the lesson, I am allowing the truth to return to my awareness. I have the opportunity to give up the lessons that I taught myself, let the imagined effects be undone.

What Is Hell?

Before I began the lesson for the day (39) I was given this idea.

The body rejects itself. Does this not represent your attempt to reject your true Self?

In truth you can never be separate from your eternal Self, you remain as Love created you. Look not with fear on what you made, for your dreams are mistaken thoughts. They show you your errors and errors can be erased if you so choose. Not by you, but by the complete, perfect Companion Who accompanies you in every step and turn.

Yet as long as you value your separateness, you will hold your thoughts and not give them over to the One who can correct them. As long as you value specialness you will hold the dream tight, not letting your errors be undone. The ego thought is what holds tightly to what it made. This thought is NOT you. This tiny thought is no where, it is nothing. Allow yourself to slip into peace, into a stillness and calm within your mind. Therein is your Answer, there is the truth. By resting in peace, you remember all that you tried to forget; you give room for Love to be Itself. Rest in peace often, and know that your Companion is ever with you, in all your ways, and will give you all that you need.

WB Lesson 27

Above all else I want to see.

Vision has no cost to anyone.
It can only bless.
How much do you want today’s idea to be true?

How much do I want to see innocence? If I follow the ego system, the belief is that my brother must be guilty for me to be free/sinless. If I would see that my brother is the same as me there could be no fear. Ideas of loss and lack come from the insane ego system and are meaningless.

By seeing my brother’s innocence, I will recognize my own. My sinlessness is guaranteed by God. Every brother is sinless because they are in my mind, in the Mind of Love. Being one in the Mind of Love, there is no separation, no guilt, no loss.

WB Lesson 21

I am determined to see things differently.

Whatever I seem to be looking at it is always my meaning that I “see.” If I want to see it as it really is I must lay down my definition or interpretation. My meaning does not replace Loves meaning on anything. Thoughts based on separation do not have meaning. They are really nothing.

Being determined to see differently is my willingness to see with the eyes of Love or Christ Mind. This enables me to see beyond my projection to the Love that is everywhere. It is asking for correction of my distorted thoughts from the Mind of Love. Willingness becomes the healed mind. Thoughts without Love are meaningless, but it does not mean that I will not believe in them.

WB Lesson 12

“I am upset because I see a meaningless world.”
I think I see a hostile world, a greedy world, a sad world. I think I see a poor world, an impoverished world. But I am upset because I see a meaningless world.

Once more, I have given everything I see all the meaning it has for me. If I am willing to give up my meanings I will “see” the truth that Love has written for me. The images that I see are my thoughts. As I am willing to lay my thoughts down for just an instant, I will have a moment of truth and Love in place of fear. That memory will shine away the meaningless thoughts, the thought of separation that I chose before.
