I Am Responsible For What I See

There is no uphill battle, that is a lie. All the things I think about this world are fabrications to defend against Love. As I made these images or ideas, I can let them go. Nothing is “done” to me without my choice. Do I choose for Love or for separation?

Following ideas are found in ACIM T.21.II.

I am responsible for what I see. I choose the feelings I experience, and I decide upon the goal I would achieve. and everything that seems to happen to me I ask for, and receive as I have asked.
Acknowledge that you have been mistaken, and all effects of your mistakes will disappear.

Suffer, and you decided separation was your goal. Be happy, and you gave the power of decision to Him Who must decide for God for you. This is the little gift you offer to the Holy Spirit, and even this He gives to you to give yourself.

You must perceive that What is strong enough to make a world [in thought] can let it go, and can accept correction if it is willing to see that it was wrong. The world you see is only the idle witness that you [egoic mind] were right.

Look closer at what the offering is, and simply see in the little gift the whole exchange of separation for salvation. All that the ego is, is an idea that is is possible that things could happen to the Son of God without his will; and thus without the Will of his Creator, Whose Will cannot be separate from his own. For if you think the world you made has power to make you what it wills, you are confusing Son and Father, effect and Source.

Morning Thoughts

I am completely confident that H.S. takes me wherever I need to go.

There seems to be a part of me (mind) that is very fearful, easily disillusioned, erratic and dangerous. It seems to have a routine that keeps it “safe” and it holds rituals and idols to make its security endure.  Yet in my real mind (the Mind that Love created) is the assurance that all fear will be undone or healed. The dark, disturbing pictures that fear thoughts project will all be taken to the light and dissolved because only Love is real. I am willing to give all such pictures to the Light for healing.

Every dark, fear filled picture the sick mind has drawn, I lay on the altar of Love. All I thought I did or was done to me, has never been. I was mistaken in my pictures and I choose to let them go.

Do I Want to Know God’s Will for Me?

These thoughts came to me on waking.

God’s Will is perfect happiness; when I am not happy I am denying His Will and my own. Do I want to know His Will for me? Or do I choose to not know? When I am not happy I have chosen wrongly. J.C. asks me to choose again, remembering that I am the only one that can deprive myself of anything.

When I ask to see things differently I am asking to see myself anew. If I am open, I receive the clarity of Christ’s vision. When I am willing I receive the truth of my reality: I am forever innocent. I am complete, pure, harmless, and at Home. None of the things I thought I did are true, only false.

I can neither harm or be harmed. I am 100% innocent, and can choose to let my insanity (insane life) go. As long as there is the tiniest scrap of belief in my guilty self/story, I will not be happy. As long as I deny the truth, I cherish my insane wish and dream of punishment and terror, of unending persecution and merciless consequence. Choose again. Do I really want my separation dream to be real?

Choose again, allowing truth to replace lies, wholeness to replace aloneness, clarity to replace confusion. Choose again, letting go of all error. Know again my true life that I share with God. Know again that only Love is real.

Impressions from WB lesson 332

Fear bind the world. Forgiveness sets it free.

Fear chains me in illusion. Forgiveness sets me free.

Fear is an idea of the ego system, being such it is meaningless. This idea takes many forms in my dream, its purpose it to move me out of peace. For when I am not aware of peace I am not aware of truth, knowledge or grace.

In peace I accept the knowledge that was placed in my mind, I accept that illusions are not my reality, I accept only Love is real. In peace I forgive my illusions, freeing my mind of error or meaningless beliefs.  My holy Self does the work, I need not understand how.

I need only my willingness to see differently, my willingness to have been wrong in my thinking. Willingness to let loose all I think I know.

More on Thinking I Know

So, I do not know what this body is for. In my story I thought it was for planting bulbs and seeds, for weeding unwanted plants. I thought is was for making meals, washing dishes and clothes, for cleaning the house. I thought it was for driving the car, for walking and talking; doing as I bid. So none of this is the truth. I asked: “Holy Spirit, what is this body for, what is your purpose for it?”

This came to mind: The ego’s use for the body is to make one feel or believe in smallness, weakness, vulnerability and being wholly alone. Holy Spirit uses the body for communication, for union of minds, for correction of poor thoughts.

In His perfect sight He sees the body as a tool or means for forgiving the mind, that had a mistaken thought. In each little thought that you let go, brings you ever closer to your only truth. In every circumstance that you choose to see innocence and love, you forgive the idea of separation. That is all the body is for.

Spirit told me: Dear one, every time you let go of a false idea, you are forgiving yourself. This is how you accept Atonement for yourself; atonement is forgiveness, the undoing of what never happened. In letting go of false ideas you come to know that you are free, being from Love and of Love. You are Love Itself.

Love waits for Welcome; if you are fearful then you cannot welcome Love. You cannot know what is going to happen “next” for your perceptions are based on a past that never was. You are only as Love created you, and this you have never changed, no matter what your dreams have shown you. (Forgive them their illusions means you are forgiving your illusions.)
