A New Way to See

Dreaming the Duality

What is real cannot be threatened.
What is unreal does not exist.
Love is not threatened by meaningless dreams.
Love has no opposite in reality — in dreams there appear to be opposites.

(I dream of duality, of opposites. Dreams are not real. They are fantasies, wishes appearing as reality.)
While truth can appear in dreams, truth does not make the dream real. It can only show the dreamer the way out of dreaming.

In this dream the body holds my attention. It seems to deserve the devoted attention that it demands. Yet it is only another prop in the stage of the “drama” of life. It (body) was made to make the separation appear as real, as fact, as an undoable action that never can be corrected. Under ego’s domain so will it remain so. Yet when I choose again, choose a different path to follow the way that Love shows me, I will be free of mad dreams.

With each step that I choose for Love is a step closer to my acceptance of forgiveness. In each moment of letting go of of my false perceptions am I closer to waking from the dream of separation. With every pause and willingness to let go of a cherished belief will I be nearer to awaken at Home. Giving up foolish dreams is not a sacrifice! The totality of Love is the truth, and Love keeps calling me to wake up.

Being Wrong

I thought I knew what I know, but I was wrong.

I thought that I was separate, but I was wrong.

I thought I was persecuted, but I was wrong.

I thought I was worthless, but I was wrong.

The Truth of who I am, what I am, where I am, is not of this world.

I am a holy, innocent, loving Child of God. Made by Him and Like Him in all Ways.
He made my worth, and keeps it safe. In Him I am whole, complete, without flaw or failing, without despair, remorse or guilt. I do abide in Him as His Spirit abides in me and guides me without fail through all the days, minutes and hours of my dream life.

My only purpose is to learn to listen to Him and accept His Guidance, as the only thing I want.

Feeling Safe = Love

In my past I had not felt very successful with practicing Wb lesson 121, in seeing the little spark of light in some person from my past.

I had been asking H.S. to teach me how to forgive. And one night as I lay in bed, I had been remembering how as a child, I felt that my Grandfather gave me unconditional love, and he accepted the love I returned to him. Spirit had me focus on those feelings of love, and how safe I’d felt. Then came the encouragement to give that love to those I thought had hurt or harmed me in any way.            I found it so easy to do—any face that came to me, or any thought of failure, I extended love to. I was filled with gratitude and thankfulness. Any shred of judgment was erased, and I was free.

Now when I notice a thought of judgment pop into my mind, I silently send love to that image or idea. I ask Holy Spirit to help me accept the truth in my mind. Now I recognize the feeling of relief when I have let go of a false idea that was condemning me.

A Call For Love

I am grateful to remember that any villainous act or insane action is only a call for Love.
If I/we don’t agree with another person, or make judgments about situations, I have chosen to follow the ego’s agenda. If I choose, I can remember that what I perceive as

outside

is a projection of my own thoughts. With judgements about the world and the people that populate it, I keep myself trapped in my illusion.

When I choose to see villainous acts and insane decisions as the call for Love, for help and healing, I have invited the Light to return to my mind and theirs. The villain is crying for help and begging for love and to feel worthy of Love. The insane decisions are screaming for healing/love, of feeling the innocence that is their birthright (born as a Thought of God).  The split mind has no remembrance of Love nor the truth. Everyone’s calling for love, everyone is worthy and deserving of Love. That is God’s Will.

Giving Up the Story

Giving Up the Story

Once upon a time, there was a girl. She didn’t know anything, so she learned from the others around her.  She learned from a crazy thought system that everyone thought was ”normal” and that no one questioned if it was true. She went on many years following this thought system, not aware at all that there was another way to go, another path or teacher to follow.

She began to search for answers, from others who seemed wiser then herself. Looking at an assortment of other minds, she eventually came to A Course In Miracles. She began reading it and following the Workbook lessons, slowly developing a connection with her Holy Spirit, Holy Self. But the sneaky thought system named ‘ego’, groomed itself to appear as the holy self. It tricked her with feelings of happiness, that were only scraps of true happiness.

The girl had a set-back in the physical world, she felt let down, betrayed, and abandoned. She felt like she was a liar, not telling anyone else of her fears and her denial of what The Course had helped her with. She had given up reading the Course, but although she denied the tiny voice of Love within her, she still had what seemed to be a microscopic piece of Love within her mind. That part never gave up, never abandoned her.

The girl, woman now, realized that that were two voices in her mind, and she had the abilityto choose which voice she listened to. Actually that it was easy to remind herself that she could always tell the noisy unwanted voice to be quiet, that she would no longer abide it’s insane diatribe. She could summon the Voice of Love to provide her with compassion and understanding. She could learn and accept the new way to see and perceive the world around her. That all the moments of doubt, fear and guilt were only camouflage to hide the Love Light within her mind. Whatever she felt unworthy of, was hers Now, undeniable, Certain, Eternal and Infinite.

For a long long time it seemed to me that I was hopeless, doomed to have nothing more then the insane thoughts and the voice I made up. I have returned to the idea that I am not alone in this teaching situation, for the Holy Spirit is my constant Companion, with me to correct/undo all errors and mistaken ideas. This is one of many paths that lead to Home, to be One with our Source.
It is simple to be kind to others, remembering that they too are seeking their way Home.
It is simple to remember that what I “see” in another body only reflects the beliefs I hold about my self.
It is simple to let go of anything that hurts the mind.
I am willing to remember only Love is real.

Special Love

In a night dream I felt the same intense love towards two different bodies—-on waking I wondered how this could be possible—these thoughts came to mind.

In the dream it seems that you can love one and another with the same intensity. The ego “loves” the special attributes in one body and the special attributes in another body, so intense feelings seem true. Spirit does not see special attributes, Spirit knows there appear to be many where there is only one.

Each part that you “see” in your world is only a piece of the whole. Every “part” makes the whole what it is. What you do not accept is that every part reflects you, reflects a piece of your mind, a thought that you rejected. If you did not reject the thoughts that you made, you would learn of their meaninglessness. When you reject what you do not want, you make it real. The ego makes the enormity of what you had done seem impossible to repair to keep you trapped in its illusory world. If you but knew/accepted “it never happened”, you would be free of fear, guilt and pain. Love holds no specialness. Love loves all equally, knowing that the impossible never happened.

The seeming two that are loved as individuals are only the same one/self reflecting an idea that the whole could be split. What is one cannot be divided. Nothing can ever be separated from One. The intensity of love felt in the dream of separate bodies is only a hint of the love you have with your Father/ Creator/ Source.

What Do You Dream?

What do you dream?
You have chosen to dream of separation and guilt. This need not be. An idea that occurred for a tiny instant was over long ago. An idea that you mistook as being real, of having a cause and then a consequence. What is not real can have no effects. You can dream they are real but this does not make it true, for only what Love creates has reality and is true.

In your practice of letting go the false, the light of Love replaces the fear filled dreams. Everything, every thought in the sleeping mind was never true and was chosen as a replacement for reality. In your letting go of false ideas the Loving truth spreads throughout your mind and Light comes to gently waken the part that sleeps. For the truth acknowledges that you never left your home, your Creator, nor your holy Self.

Fear has kept you from turning within. Fear has made you slave to a continuing story of guilt, cruelty, sacrifice and punishment. But you CAN turn away from fear, it is not your master. Thoughts that seem to float randomly into awareness are chosen by the sleeping mind. It holds onto a thought system that you mistakenly thought was yours. It does not take gigantic effort or maintenance to undo such a mistake. The correction of the mistake is not your job. You need do only this: be willing to see differently.This all that is asked of you. Any thought that is not kind, gentle or happy comes from fear. You have tried to follow two teachers but this has led you nowhere. You must choose one and relinquish the other. For One decides only and always for your good.
