Accepting Our One Self

Robert:
Judgment is self-destructive. It destroys the awareness of my unity with Love, Which is all there is. If I want to know the joy and peace of Love, there is only one thing to do — let go of judgment. Since judgment is so central to the experience of this world, letting it go seems to be a tall order. Yet keeping it leads only to fear and despair. Letting go of judgment leads to freedom and the memory of the one Self I share with all.

Since judgment seems to be a key to survival in this world, I need help from beyond the world’s thought system to let it go. I am grateful that this Help is already in my mind. I need only be willing to accept It. Today my practice is to offer all my judgments, all my interpretations, to the Holy Spirit with willingness to accept His in their place. This is how today will be a lesson in awakening.

Mary:
I am seeing that the Holy Spirit is my dearest Friend in every situation. It is my job to pay attention to the true Self That resides in my mind. This same Friend is everyone’s true Self. When I am willing to join with my inner Friend, I am joining with everyone because there is only one Self. This is my focus for today.
