Putting the Holy Spirit in Charge of Our Life

This holy instant would I give to You. Be You in charge. For I would follow You, certain that Your direction gives me peace.

And if I need a word to help me, He will give it to me. ²If I need a thought, that will He also give. ³And if I need but stillness and a tranquil, open mind, these are the gifts I will receive of Him. ⁴He is in charge by my request. ⁵And He will hear and answer me, because He speaks for God my Father and His holy Son. The ego is only interested in presenting false evidence to “prove” that separation is real. Its primary evidence is that the body dies, the irreversible separation. While we believe the body is our identity, we have put the ego in charge of our seeming existence.

But we can withdraw this assignment we have given the ego. We can choose instead to put the Holy Spirit in charge of the present moment. We can be certain that He will direct us to find peace of mind. He will help us remember the strength God has given us to let the Love we are dispel our fearful thoughts. We can trust the Holy Spirit to guide us to remember we safe in the loving Mind of our Father.
