Accepting the Gift of Peace

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Pay attention to what is happening in your mind in the now moment… Pay attention to receiving My gift of peace in this now moment… Accepting peace is accepting a powerful gift that is always available to you…

Today focus on accepting the gift of peace on a consistent basis. It is the way out of the experience of doubt and uncertainty. It is the way out of hell for you. Today focus on accepting peace now. Do this and everything else will fall in place with no effort on your part.

Robert:
This morning our time with Spirit has had a different form than usual. As usual, we started with reading in A Course in Miracles. But there are projects in the works that can be progressing in the background while we focus our attention on Spirit, such as getting printing done. So during our time with Spirit, there were ‘interruptions’ when we were led to get a project started and then come back to full attention on Spirit. This happened several times as it appeared that we went back and forth between giving our attention to Spirit and attending to printing catalogs.

This has been a great exercise in the practice of walking with Spirit through the day. By staying in peace, we could switch back and forth between “worldly activities” and giving conscious attention to the Spirit within; we were able to quickly let go of the projects and focus our attention within. To me the lesson is that it is possible to walk with Spirit throughout the day. All I need to do is to pause as needed to refocus on the quiet peace of Spirit within. The more I do this the easier it is and the smoother I flow through the day. With practice, reconnecting with peace can be accomplished in an instant. I will continue today with this practice.
