True Helpfulness

True helpfulness is inspired by Love and reflects God’s Love in the world. To be truly helpful, we need to open ourselves to the Holy Spirit’s loving inspiration. As we hold our openness to the Holy Spirit’s lead with the attitude of, “What would you have me do, what would you have me say, and to whom?” we move through the day inspired by Love.

Because it is so easy to get caught up in the things of the world through the day, it is helpful to mentally pause and allow ourselves to reconnect with the center of peace within. This reopens the connection to receive Love’s inspiration.

This practice throughout the day will lead to a joyous experience of letting Love inspire us and flow through us, moment by moment. Our day will be profoundly fulfilling and we will experience God’s blessing as we extend His Love in our doing. This is our practice for today.

Letting Go of Separation Thoughts

Separation thoughts include the idea of a separate you and a separate me. Separation thoughts include being different from the oneness of God’s universal Love. Separation thoughts focus on differences rather than the truth that we are all united in God’s one Ocean of Light, God’s one Ocean of Love. We are all united in Love and as Love.

Today our practice is to notice thoughts that come from a sense of being a separate “me.” These thoughts keep us trapped and do not bring happiness. We notice thoughts coming from the idea of separation and we hand these thoughts to our inner Guide for healing. We allow God’s Light to shine these thoughts away. We allow God’s peace to carry us to health and wholeness. We allow Love’s Oneness to return us to the truth of our one Identity as universal Love. And we give thanks as our mind is healed through our willingness to let them go.

Seeing the Love Beyond Appearances

We are all seeking for Love, even though we are immersed in Love. Our judgments block our awareness of the Love that surrounds us and that we are. This is why forgiveness is the key to happiness. It is why forgiveness clears the way for us to experience the comfort and safety and joy that is the truth of What we are.

Today we practice accepting the Holy Spirit’s guidance to see as He sees. Because the Holy Spirit’s function is to help us see the Love that He sees everywhere, as we accept His guidance, we see Love’s reflection everywhere in the world.

As we accept His guidance, we are accepting God’s Love, which is our Love in truth. With Holy Spirit’s help, we see everyone as our brother and friend. We see past the appearances of the world and join in the recognition of the Love we all share.

As we acknowledge that Love is our Source, and accept that Love, Love becomes all we see. As we see Love, we remember we are Love. The seemingly endless search for Love is over, for we have remembered that we already are what we have been searching for. Our hearts are filled with gratitude.

Our Shared Purpose

We let God’s Light of Love shine in and through our minds today… The peace and happiness that is inherent in God’s Love radiates through us today… We practice receiving and giving God’s joyous gifts of Love today…

We let our natural inner enthusiasm shine through as God’s joy is received and extended through us today… We let God’s strength and vision be applied to every perceived problem today… We let our true Self heal through us today…

This is all we want. This is all we need.

Recognizing Love

Deep within you is everything that is perfect, ready to radiate through you and out into the world. It will cure all sorrow and pain and fear and loss because it will heal the mind that thought these things were real, and suffered out of its allegiance to them. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.41.3)

We step back and follow our inner Source of Light today… We follow where Love leads us… We let go of thinking we are on our own, remembering that our inner Source of Love is always in our minds, radiating out through us into the world… We willingly join with all Love everywhere…

The Love within us joyfully recognizes the Love in everyone as we go through the day. In the recognition of Love we know we are blessed.

Let Our Doing Reflect God’s Love Today

Father, this is Your day. It is a day in which I would do nothing by myself, but hear Your Voice in everything I do; requesting only what You offer me, accepting only Thoughts You share with me. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.339.2)

Today we practice being mindful of our state of peace. In peace we are receptive to Holy Spirit’s guidance. His guidance always comes with God’s Love and leads us to reflect His Love in all our doing.

As we meet or think of anyone in a peaceful state of mind, God’s Voice will guide us in how to reflect His Love in our thinking, words and actions. All things in this world reflect God’s Love when they are used for Holy Spirit’s purpose. We dedicate this day to joining with Holy Spirit’s purpose that all our doing may reflect God’s Love.

Love Now

As you go through the complexities that show up in your day today, think of the words, “Love now.” Let the power of Love fill your mind in that now moment… Take that moment to breathe Love in and extend Love out… Breathe Love in… Extend Love out… Whatever inspiration is needed to clear the tangled web that the ego mind makes will show up… You trust the power of Love in that present moment…

Love is simple and uncomplicated. Love is always in ease, gentleness and kindness. Love inspires us in how to be truly helpful in each present moment. We are in full gratitude as we practice this all through the day.
