Finding Our One Self

In my mind there is a Source of Love that returns my awareness to the oneness of all Reality. My opportunity today is to step back from separation a while and open to accepting the reality of oneness. Giving time to the Holy Spirit for this purpose is my salvation. It is how I return to the awareness of the one Self we all share. It is how I see the face of Christ in every brother. It is how I wake up from the dream of separation. It is how my mind is healed.

Everyone wants to be happy. In fact, this world of separation was made out of the mistaken belief about what would make us happy. Occasionally we are able to arrange circumstances or relationships that seem to make us happy. Yet because these situations and relationships are based on made up images, they are inherently unstable and will not last. If we want to experience lasting happiness, we need to stop looking for it where it cannot be found.

We need help from outside the mistaken belief in separation to find the happiness that we seek. Happiness is found in the truth of What we are. Happiness is found in the Love that is our Source. Fortunately, A Course in Miracles is helping us learn to turn to the Holy Spirit as our Guide out of the dream of separation. It is to This that we need to turn for guidance as we seek to find happiness. This search is really the search to remember What we are and Where we are in truth. It is the search for the changeless Love that is our Self.

Today my practice is to hold my mind open to the Holy Spirit’s vision that sees past mistaken images of separation to the Light of Love. As I accept His vision, I find my Self and I see this Self everywhere. This is where happiness is eternal. This is all I really want.
