Let Holy Spirit Manage Your Day

Let the Holy Spirit be your time manager today. Let Him inspire your “to do” list. Frequently check in with Holy Spirit and ask, “What’s next?” Even in the midst of a project, frequently check in.

This “checking in” process is facilitated by staying relaxed and at peace. Let go of your self-imposed priorities. Let Him guide every step. He knows what is important, what has value, both at the level of mind and in its reflection in the world. At the end of the day, not only will you be more relaxed with this practice, but you will have a great sense of fulfillment, for you have let Love guide your way. It will be a happy day indeed.

Open to Receive and Give God’s Happiness

Let today be a day of receiving the peace and joy that God is giving you today. It is always there to receive. You don’t have to wait. Practice receiving God’s perfect happiness now, in the present moment. This practice will lift you up and inspire you all through the day. It will carry you through all perceived problems and brighten your day. It will be like being carried down a quiet path in summer. Try it; you’ll like it!

Ask to See Only Love

What you ask for you will receive. Ask to see the truth. Ask to join with the Light of Truth. Ask to see as the Holy Spirit sees. The Holy Spirit is waiting for your willingness to let your mind be lit up with the truth.

As you let the Light of Truth in, what is false disappears. The ego’s constant stream of false ideas is shined away. As you are willing, your awareness of Love’s Presence returns. Your innate peace, joy and happiness returns. Fear disappears and is replaced with the awareness that you are safe and all is well.

Practice this all through the day. Ask to see only Love and know that It is yours to receive and extend.

Give Him Your Thoughts

Give Him your thoughts, and He will give them back as miracles which joyously proclaim the wholeness and the happiness God wills His Son, as proof of His eternal Love. And as each thought is thus transformed, it takes on healing power from the Mind which saw the truth in it, and failed to be deceived by what was falsely added. All the threads of fantasy are gone. And what remains is unified into a perfect Thought that offers its perfection everywhere. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.151.14)

Our practice for today is to hand over our thoughts to the Holy Spirit all through the day. We remember that we are like little children who need to be shown the difference between what is important and what is unimportant. We need to be shown the difference between illusion and truth.

Our true Self is there to show us what is truly of value and what is worthy of our attention. Our inner Teacher brings us past the world of form to what is really true and what has eternal value, as we practice giving Him our thoughts all through the day.

Accepting the Touch of God

Yet He reminds you still of one thing more you had forgotten. For His touch on you has made you like Himself. The gifts you have are not for you alone. What He has come to offer you, you now must learn to give. This is the lesson that His giving holds, for He has saved you from the solitude you sought to make in which to hide from God. He has reminded you of all the gifts that God has given you. He speaks as well of what becomes your will when you accept these gifts, and recognize they are your own. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.166.12)

God has touched us all with His Love, His peace and His joy. This is the Reality in which He created His one Son. We are all united as the one Son of God. God’s gifts are already eternally ours. If we do not experience His gifts, it is only because we are denying them and trying to be something we are not. This something else, this image we have made that we call our self, experiences the opposite of God’s gifts — fear, conflict and unhappiness. This need not be.

Forgiveness is the means by which we lay down the self-condemning image we have made. As we forgive ourselves for denying God’s gifts, we make way for accepting the gifts that are God’s will for us. Every brother offers us the opportunity to lay aside our judgments and accept the gifts of God that are the truth in our brother and ourselves. Every moment of every day we have the opportunity to look beyond the images and accept the gifts that God has given us with His touch. With this practice, we free ourselves to receive God’s gifts today.

The Light of Love Reveals the Truth

The path to peace is lit by the Light of Love. Let the Light of Love shine through you today to show you the Love and innocence in all your brothers. Let the Light of Love show you the oneness beyond the forms of the world. Let the Light of Love show you the only real meaning in all your doing — the extension of Love, the joining with Love in everyone and everything. Thus is meaning given to all your doing from the seemingly mundane to the magnificent. The truth of Love is the same in all things. Let the Light of Love show you the truth today.

Let Love Lead You Home

Practice letting yourself become aware of Love’s Presence today. Let yourself see the Love that is really there behind the ego’s illusions of separation. Let Love lead the way. Let Love heal all thoughts that reflect separation and lack of Love. Let Love lead you Home to Love today.

As you see from the awareness of Love, you see the Love you are reflected back to you. You feel the joy of your true Self. You feel the peace of God that is your own. You remember that you remain as God created you.
