Following Spirit’s Lead Past Time to Eternity

Only in time does interference in God’s completion seem to be possible. The bridge that He would carry you across lifts you from time into eternity. Waken from time, and answer fearlessly the Call of Him Who gave eternity to you in your creation. On this side of the bridge to timelessness you understand nothing. But as you step lightly across it, upheld by timelessness, you are directed straight to the Heart of God. At its center, and only there, you are safe forever, because you are complete forever. There is no veil the Love of God in us together cannot lift. The way to truth is open. Follow it with me. (A Course in Miracles T-16.IV.13:3-11)

The stories in the world can appear so real. It is important for me to consistently remember that I have an inner Teacher That can lead me out of the stories of time, differences and conflict to the truth of Love’s oneness. I am learning that attempting to solve problems as they come up at the level of form is not the answer.

If I am willing, my inner Teacher lifts me past the stories in time to the eternal now. When I am lifted past the veil of time, I see that nothing has really happened to change God’s one Son. Love is. God is. Nothing else is real. Here is where I find peace. And I give thanks.

From the perspective of peace in the oneness of Spirit, I am open to be inspired with how to reflect Love’s oneness in the dream of time. It is a solution based on the reality of Oneness reflected in the dream of separation in a way that leads to forgiveness of the dream. Holy Spirit’s solutions always lead us away from fear and guilt and help us let go of the false images that support the thought of separation.

My focus today is to remain in peace with an open mind to let Holy Spirit express truth through me in my thoughts, words and actions.
