Forgiveness Offers Everything I Want

I was created, along with everyone, as Love’s extension. In the dream of separation, Love is reflected as forgiveness. As God’s representative (extension), my purpose in the world must be to forgive it, to let it go. That is my only purpose.

If I think I have any other purpose, it is because I am denying God’s Will for me. This means I am denying God’s gifts of perfect happiness, peace and eternal Love. I am no longer willing to maintain dreams of separation and specialness at the cost of true happiness. This means I must accept my true purpose. I must be willing to let go of all the images of the world that I have been carrying with me. I must be willing to be shown that nothing in the world offers me anything I really want. As I am willing to accept Holy Spirit’s true perception, I free myself from the bondage of the ego belief in separation and return to the freedom of extending Love without limit.

Today my practice is to hold my mind open to Holy Spirit’s vision, which will show me the innocence and love beyond every form I seem to perceive. With this practice, my journey will lead me to perfect happiness.

Forgiveness offers everything I want. Forgiveness means letting go the barriers I have placed before the awareness of Love’s Presence. Forgiveness means letting go of trying to replace God with a separate identity. Forgiveness means letting go of illusions. Letting go of illusions offers me everything I want.

The way I do this is to practice the early lessons in the Workbook of A Course in Miracles like, “My meaningless thoughts are showing me a meaningless world,” and “God did not create a meaningless world.” As I am willing to see the image-making for what it is (which is trying to replace God), I more easily let go of my attachment to them. I more easily let the veil of separation be lifted by Holy Spirit so I can be re-minded of the oneness of God’s Will.

Today is a day of stepping back and letting my inner Teacher show me the truth of Love’s Oneness behind every illusion of separation. Today is a day of forgiving all I thought I knew. Forgiveness offers everything I want.
