From Uncertainty to Safety

In the world there are myriad forms of “threats” to our safety and well being. This is inherent in the ego’s basic idea of separation. The body’s eyes focus on these forms, being unable to see beyond appearances.

Gratefully we have in our minds the means to see beyond the appearances of form. The Holy Spirit brings us the Vision of Christ, which sees the Love of God everywhere without regard to the appearances in form. In the oneness of that Love, there is perfect safety. There is nothing real that can change God’s eternal Love.

As we can learn to see with the Vision of Christ, we will see the Presence of Love everywhere, in everything and in everyone. As we let this Vision guide us in each moment, the sense of uncertainty and danger fades, and we feel the comfort and peace of changeless Love more and more. This Loving Presence will guide our doing in the world so that what the ego once used to reinforce the sense of weakness and threat is now used to bring blessing and the experience of God’s strength in us.

Our practice today is to be open to the Vision of Christ and let It guide us, moment by moment.
