Joining with Our Self

The strength in you will offer you the light, and guide your seeing so you do not dwell on idle shadows that the body’s eyes provide for self-deception. Strength and light unite in you, and where they meet, your Self stands ready to embrace you as Its Own. Such is the meeting place we try today to find and rest in, for the peace of God is where your Self, His Son, is waiting now to meet Itself again, and be as one. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.92.9)

Today is a day to join with the strength of God instead of the weakness of the ego. Now is the time to accept the truth of the one Self. Now is the time to accept the peace and contentment that fills my mind as I am willing to lay down the ego’s false perception. The time is always now to recognize Love’s oneness.

Judgment is the way I separate from my Self. If I think someone with different political views is an adversary, I am separating from my Self. It is not they who need to be corrected. It is my perception of being separate or different that needs correction.

As with every other perception of difference, I need to bring that perception to the Holy Spirit’s Light, which will shine through the appearance to show me the one Self we share in God. The appearance of difference comes solely from the belief that we are bodies. But the Light of Love shows me that I am not a body nor is anyone.

I am the Light and strength of God, the same as everyone. The Holy Spirit will help me see this if I am willing to welcome His Light. This is how I join with our one Self.
