Laying Aside Judgments Brings Happiness

If you want to be happy today, lay aside your judgments. They stand between you and the Source of all happiness. Judgments cast a sad shadow across the Light of Love that hides It from your awareness.

Watch your mind today. Pause frequently to step back from the habitual pattern of your stream of thoughts. Observe the judgments that are made automatically about what you look upon and what it means.

Be willing to bring these judgments to the Holy Spirit, your true Self, in your mind. Ask to be shown the truth that lies beyond the judgment. Ask to be helped to see with the eyes of truth, the eyes of innocence, the vision of Christ.

The ego would tell you that you don’t have time for such interruptions in the activity of your day. But do you have time to perpetuate the self-deception of littleness, limitation, guilt and fear? You can free yourself to receive and experience the limitless Love of God. What greater gift could you give yourself? It is yours for the acceptance.
