Letting God’s Light Shine Away the Past

In the holy instant nothing happens that has not always been. Only the veil that has been drawn across reality is lifted. Nothing has changed. Yet the awareness of changelessness comes swiftly as the veil of time is pushed aside.…

In the holy instant God is remembered, and the language of communication with all your brothers is remembered with Him. For communication is remembered together, as is truth. There is no exclusion in the holy instant because the past is gone, and with it goes the whole basis for exclusion. (A Course in Miracles T-15.VI.6:1-4,8:1-3)

We have one goal and that is to awaken from the false idea of separate, unique identities. This goal is accomplished by the Holy Spirit as we are willing to listen and be open to letting our thoughts be purified of ego thinking. We do this by consistently stepping back from our interpretations based on the past with willingness to accept Holy Spirit’s vision.

In truth every Son of God is changeless Love, including ourselves. In truth the past is gone and only Love is there. Love extends equally to all without exclusion or limitation. Letting awareness of this return is our practice for today.
