Love Can Never Be Divided

Your brother is your friend because his Father created him like you. There is no difference. You have been given to your brother that love might be extended, not cut off from him. What you keep is lost to you. God gave you and your brother Himself, and to remember this is now the only purpose that you share.

You are alike to God as God is to Himself. [God] is not special, for He would not keep one part of what He is unto Himself, not given to His Son but kept for Him alone. And it is this you fear, for if He is not special, then He willed His Son to be like Him, and your brother is like you. Not special, but possessed of everything, including you. Give him but what he has, remembering God gave Himself to you and your brother in equal love, that both might share the universe with Him Who chose that love could never be divided, and kept separate from what it is and must forever be. (A Course in Miracles T-24.I.7:1-5;II.10:3-7)

Remembering God is remembering we share one Self, one united Identity. Today our practice is to be willing to reconnect with the one Identity we all share with God. As we let the Holy Spirit show us the truth in our brother, we feel the blessing of his Love which we recognize as our own. This practice brings us the experience of peace, joy and Love, Which is eternal. We are safe in this Love, whether we remember it or not. And we give thanks.
