Opening Our Hearts to God Today

You are as God created you. Today honor your Self.…

Seek Him today, and find Him. He will be your Savior from all idols you have made. For when you find Him, you will understand how worthless are your idols, and how false the images which you believed were you. Today we make a great advance to truth by letting idols go, and opening our hands and hearts and minds to God today.” (A Course in Miracles W-pI.110.9:1-2;10)

Opening our hearts to God is the same as opening our hearts to receive God’s peace, joy and Love… This is the opposite of the roller coaster ride of the journey the ego takes us on. To the ego mind, opening our hearts to God is boring. It is not filled with constant change. It is not filled with seeing differences. It is not filled with the fear-ridden ride of the ego’s dream.

Today we choose to experience the simplicity of God’s peace and changeless Love… We choose God’s quietness… We let ourselves be carried as we rest in God’s peace… We want only Love and we find only Love…
