We Let Peace Lead the Way

This world gets very complex and complicated. Many times we feel uncertain about what is best for all concerned.

We open our minds to the Holy Spirit and follow His lead in the present moment… We receive His peace… We feel the calmness and gentleness that comes with joining with Him… We remember that everything is all right… We let God’s peace flow into every corner of our mind… We let peace lead the way in every situation we encounter.

The Desire to Return to Truth

The function of the Holy Spirit is to arouse in you the desire for Truth. He holds this desire for you until you are ready; then He delivers it to you, to become a part of your mind. The call for Truth will exert an irresistible attraction on your mind, if you will let it. The ego counters this call by obscuring it, by drowning it out with a constant stream of thoughts and impulses. By keeping you constantly busy responding to internal and external stimulation, there is no place in your mind where the call of Truth can be received. You have forgotten Truth so long ago, even Its memory is no longer accessible to you without help. The Holy Spirit is the call to awaken, to return to the Kingdom. He is a part of your Higher Mind, and He holds for you the memory of all that is good and true. (From the Christ Mind p. 96. Click here for more information about From the Christ Mind)

The connection to the Holy Spirit is made in our minds as we truly want our connection to be strong and complete. Our practice today is to reinforce our desire to connect with the Holy Spirit in our minds. What we truly want in our heart of hearts is what we will receive because we have the strength of God in us.

As we accept our innate strength, our desire to be connected with the Holy Spirit and receive His help supersedes our old habit of identification with the ego. As our connection with the Holy Spirit strengthens, we want to see the Truth in every circumstance. This desire for Truth brings the Truth into our awareness. With Holy Spirit, we naturally rise above the battleground to see the Love that is always there because of our desire to return to Truth.

Now Is the Time to Accept God’s Gifts

To accept God’s gifts, we need to be open and have a readiness to receive them. When our mind is filled with the clutter of ego’s thoughts, ego’s to do list, there is no room left to receive God’s gifts of peace, Love and joy.

We make room for God’s gifts when this is all we want. We let our minds quiet and welcome God’s gift of peace… We let peace fill every corner of our mind… We breathe in peace and let it in fully…

Choosing peace invites the Holy Spirit to lighten our mind and the inspiration needed in the now moment flows freely… We experience a shift in perception… We feel the Holy Spirit’s calmness and quiet inner direction… We feel gratitude and Love… We feel an inner happiness that is not of this world… We know we are being carried…

We want God’s gift above all else. And for this we give thanks.

Accepting and Giving Christ’s Vision

Christ’s vision is the bridge between the worlds. And in its power can you safely trust to carry you from this world into one made holy by forgiveness.

Behold the store of miracles set out for you to give. Are you not worth the gift, when God appointed it be given you? Judge not God’s Son, but follow in the way He has established. Christ has dreamed the dream of a forgiven world. It is His gift, whereby a sweet transition can be made from death to life; from hopelessness to hope. Let us an instant dream with Him. His dream awakens us to truth. His vision gives the means for a return to our unlost and everlasting sanctity in God. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.159.5:1-2;10:1-8)

Accepting Christ’s dream of a forgiven world is the same as allowing ourselves to be carried. It requires our willingness to let go of our story and accept instead Christ’s vision. Here we allow a new way of seeing that is not of the body’s eyes… We allow the Love that lies behind the separate images to be shown to us… We see the same Light of God behind the appearance of differences… We see that we are the same Light of Love along with everyone…

Our focus today is to accept Christ’s vision which helps us see past this world to the real world of oneness. We allow ourselves to receive and give Christ’s vision today. These are the miracles given to us to give.

What Is the Truth of Our Reality?

In truth, we are pure Love, immersed in God’s universal Love. In truth we cannot be separate from Where we are (which is Love) and What we are (which is Love).

The world the body’s eyes show us appears to be different from the truth. We are now moving into the stage of our awakening where we learn the difference between the real and the unreal. We are learning that only Love is real, and anything else is just an illusion. We are learning to open to the Holy Spirit, Who will reinterpret what we see and return us to the fact that Love is all that is real.

Today is dedicated to letting the Holy Spirit help us rise above the way the world sees to see the Love that is really there. Today is dedicated to seeing through the eyes of Love instead of the eyes of the ego. When we see only Love, we feel only peace and joy. Today is for letting ourselves become aware of the Truth of our Reality as only Love.

You Are Eternal Spirit

The truth of our Identity is that we are all the same eternal Spirit, as we were created by God. God has given all Love to us as His one Son. In this world it looks like there are differences, but today we practice remembering the truth that we are all the same universal Love that God is. We are all the same Self in the one Mind of God.

Today we let that remembering sink in deeply. We practice seeing past all differences, all uniqueness. We let go of our belief in what is not true. We ask for Christ’s vision all through the day to see our unity in the Love of God. Here we find peace and happiness and joy. In this remembering we see once again that we are all God’s eternal Spirit of Love.

Accepting God’s Peace

Today is filled with opportunities to accept God’s peace, to live in God’s peace. God’s gift of peace is ours in every moment, eternally. If we are not experiencing peace, something has gone wrong in our minds that needs correction. We make way for this correction by bringing every disturbance to the Holy Spirit with willingness to receive His gentle correction.

If we recognize a fear thought, we bring the fear to the Holy Spirit and ask Him to show us the truth of Love beyond the appearance of fear. If we experience guilt, either in ourselves or see it in another, we bring that thought of guilt to the Holy Spirit and ask for help to see the innocence of God’s holy Son beyond the appearance of guilt. If we experience a sense of lack or loss, we bring that thought to the Holy Spirit and ask for His help to see the limitless Love of God that is eternally ours. With this practice we accept God’s peace as ours.
