Sharing God’s Gifts

One walks with you Who gently answers all your fears with this one merciful reply, “It is not so.” He points to all the gifts you have each time the thought of poverty oppresses you, and speaks of His Companionship when you perceive yourself as lonely and afraid.

God has entrusted all His gifts to you. Be witness in your happiness to how transformed the mind becomes which chooses to accept His gifts, and feel the touch of Christ. Such is your mission now. For God entrusts the giving of His gifts to all who have received them. He has shared His joy with you. And now you go to share it with the world. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.166.11:3-4;15:3-7)

Today we are willing, in each present moment, to open to Holy Spirit’s inspiration and share God’s gifts with everyone. Because we are one Self, there is no distance between us. We are one Light and we share that Light with all that is. And we are grateful that this is so.

Love Surrounds Us

Rejoice in the power of forgiveness to heal your sight completely. Be confident that on this day there is a new beginning. Without the darkness of the past upon your eyes, you cannot fail to see today.

We dedicate this day to the serenity in which God would have you be. Keep it in your awareness of yourself and see it everywhere today, as we celebrate the beginning of your vision and the sight of the real world, which has come to replace the unforgiven world you thought was real. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.75.9:4-6;11:1-2)

There is a world that reflects the Love of God. It is seen through forgiving eyes. It is ever present, available to be seen in any moment, when we lay aside the past and turn over our judgments to the Holy Spirit to let Him wash them clean of our false imaginings.

We dedicate today to the practice of interpreting nothing on our own and following Holy Spirit’s lead all through the day. We trust that Love surrounds us and is ever present in our minds. Today it is our desire to see only Love that we may remember What we are.

We Are One in Holiness

All separation vanishes as holiness is shared. For holiness is power, and by sharing it, it gains in strength.

The holy instant thus becomes a lesson in how to hold all of your brothers in your mind [see their holiness], experiencing not loss but completion. From this it follows you can only give [share holiness]. And this is love, for this alone is natural under the laws of God. (A Course in Miracles, T-15.VI.3:1-2;5:5-7)

Sharing holiness is the secret to returning to Heaven. Instead of the ego’s way of projecting guilt, we now do the opposite. With Holy Spirit’s help, it is very clear to us that we share holiness with everyone. We see the innocence in everyone.

This practice returns our mind to awareness of our oneness. This practice fills us with a sense of peace and happiness. Judgment is gone when we practice seeing only holiness in every brother. We are seeing as God, our Father, sees. It delivers us from the depression, suffering, struggle and bondage of the ego thought system. We let go of judgments from the past and share the holiness of all our brothers.

In God We Trust

Whenever we experience struggle, sadness, stress, defensiveness or lack of peace in any way, it is because we believe we are capable of being harmed. We feel weak and vulnerable. We believe that somehow the image we have of ourselves can suffer loss.

Yet if we were created by God in His likeness, loss is impossible. His strength is ours. He shares His changelessness with us, which makes us invulnerable to change. We remain changeless Love as Love created us.

The antidote to a sense of vulnerability is to accept that we remain as God created us. We can trust in His strength because it is also ours in truth. The phrase that appears on all US currency, “In God we trust,” has the power to heal our troubled minds.

Reminding ourselves of this frequently redirects our allegiance from the belief in the false idea of separation to the certainty of our strength in God’s Love. This is our practice today.

Healing Is Accepting the Truth

Father, I ask for nothing but the truth. I have had many foolish thoughts about myself and my creation, and have brought a dream of fear into my mind. Today, I would not dream. I choose the way to You instead of madness and instead of fear. For truth is safe, and only love is sure. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.278.2)

Today I welcome the truth of God’s Love… Today I open to identifying with the truth instead of the ego’s illusions of separation and differences… Today I am vigilant to join with the Light of Oneness in God’s universal Love… This helps me see my oneness with everyone in Love…

With this practice I let my mind be healed as I am willing to accept the truth.

Letting the Light Dispel the Darkness in Our Minds

Spiritual purification is the uncovering of all fear and guilt; all the dark corners of your mind must be brought to Light that the darkness may be dispelled. All that is not Love must be healed to prepare the way for Love’s return. (From the Christ Mind, p. 163)

Every moment of every day presents an opportunity for us to open our minds to Love. With vigilance, we can recognize when we are not being Love’s expression, when we are not in peace and joy. When we recognize that our mind is disturbed, we have the opportunity to bring that sense of discomfort to the Holy Spirit to receive His vision and His gentle correction of the thought that caused us to believe that there was anything to fear nor any cause for guilt. Each time we accept this correction we come closer to welcoming Love’s return. We let Love’s Light shine away the dark thoughts of fear.

Today is a day filled with opportunities for healing. Today we can welcome Love’s return.

We Are Love’s Messenger

Today we accept the fact that our function is to be Love’s messenger. We let ourselves remember that we are Love, and Love extends only Love because that is Its only function. We are happiest when we are following our true life purpose — forgiving and being Love’s messenger.

As we walk through today, we let the Love of our true Self flow through and we are uplifted through the experience of extending Love. It will be a happy day indeed.
