Joining with Holy Spirit

Today our practice is to consistently step back from our judgments and interpretations and open to the Holy Spirit… We simply relax into Holy Spirit’s peace… We choose Holy Spirit’s healing Light…

We allow ourselves to see What is beyond this world of separation… We are willing to see the Love that unites us as one… We allow the Light of Truth to shine away the mistaken concepts that we have made… We let go of what does not matter… We open to the constant, eternal Spirit of Love That has never changed, and we rest a while…

We allow ourselves to feel the comfort and peace that comes with allowing ourselves to return to the truth… The truth is we are all still as God created us… Nothing has really happened to change God’s one Son… And we give thanks.

Seeing our Friends Everywhere

Holy Spirit, help us to recognize the Light of Love in everyone we see or think of today… Help us to recognize them as our siblings, creations of God’s Love… We are willing to let our mistaken beliefs and stories be replaced by the truth… We know that as we do this, we will experience the joy You offer us with the Love that You bring to us from our Source… As we let You guide our thoughts today, we know that we will see Friends everywhere, for we will recognize everyone as a reflection of the one Self we share… And it will be a day of peace, joy and gratitude.

Love Is Everywhere

Today our practice is to remember that Love is everywhere. Behind the hallucination of separation is Love’s Presence. Love’s Presence is universal. Love is all that is real. Today we allow ourselves to let the veil of separation be lifted that we may know the truth of Love’s universal Presence again.

We will apply this practice to every situation. Whether we are fixing a gutter or preparing a meal, we will practice being aware that we are in Love’s Presence. In this way, we remember that we all are Love and nothing else is real.

Let Yourself Be Loved

We were given these thoughts today:  Let yourself be loved… Accept Love’s comfort and peace… Let Love show you Itself everywhere… Love offers all of Itself to you eternally, without limit. Accept It and know that you have everything you need in every moment… Forgive yourself for the mistaken ideas you had, which never had effect. Nothing but Love has ever happened…

You were created as Love, eternally worthy of Love. Accept Love and share It to know that you are loved.

Desire Truth

Vision will come to you at first in glimpses, but they will be enough to show you what is given you who see your brother sinless. Truth is restored to you through your desire, as it was lost to you through your desire for something else. Open the holy place that you closed off by valuing the “something else,” and what was never lost will quietly return. It has been saved for you. Vision would not be necessary had judgment not been made. Desire now its whole undoing, and it is done for you. (A Course in Miracles, T-20.VIII.1)

Today we have another opportunity to see the truth behind illusions of separation. As we desire to see only the truth, it is there for us to see. As we open to the Holy Spirit’s vision, we see innocence instead of guilt, we see wholeness instead of separation.

As we are willing to see the truth, peace and happiness return. Kindness and gentleness replace conflict and fear. Today we have another opportunity to see past illusions to the truth. This is our focus for today. And we give thanks that we receive as we desire.

We Choose to Have a Happy Day

Today we choose to be happy, which means today we choose to forgive. Forgiveness is the key to happiness.

We dedicate today to being mindful of our grievances and judgments. As we observe these thoughts, we bring them to the Holy Spirit in our minds and ask for His help to see past the mistaken idea of what we are to the truth that only Love is real. We want to see the Love in our brothers. We want to remember the Love we are. We want to remember that we are safe in the eternal oneness of Love.

As we let the Holy Spirit bring His Light to our unforgiving thoughts, we make way for the joy of being as Love created us. Today we choose to have a happy day.

We Are in Love Eternally

We are in Love with each other because we are one in Love. Belief that we are alone and separate keeps us from experiencing the joy of being in Love.

The sense of being separate is maintained by the habit of judging everything. To judge anything it must be perceived as separate from us. The joy of being in Love returns as we forgive or let go of all our judgments and grievances.

Our practice today is to put the Holy Spirit in charge of interpreting everything we perceive. We would make no judgments on our own. We would hold our minds open to receive Holy Spirit’s judgment instead. His judgment is very simple. Whatever we perceive is unreal if we believe it is separate from us. As we let this go with His help, the reality of Love floods into the space made free to receive It by our relinquishment of judgment. It is this Love that the Holy Spirit judges as real. Our practice today will lead us further down the road to the full recognition that we are in Love eternally.
