Accepting God’s Gift of Holiness

This world will change through you. No other means can save it, for God’s plan is simply this: The Son of God is free to save himself, given the Word of God to be his Guide, forever in his mind and at his side to lead him surely to his Father’s house by his own will, forever free as God’s. He is not led by force, but only love. He is not judged, but only sanctified. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.125.2)

Today we will practice seeing everyone’s holiness. We are willing to let the Holy Spirit show us the innocence in everyone. We are led to see past the stories of differences to the one Light of Love that is eternally there. As we are willing we will recognize the truth through quiet listening. This is how we accept God’s gift of holiness.

Right Now I Choose Peace

Today’s dedication: Right now I open my mind to my true Self, where all peace resides… Right now I open to the Light of Love That is my true eternal nature… I am receptive… and I am willing to receive the peace and eternal Love that is always there as I am willing to accept the truth of What I am and Where I am eternally…

I choose peace… I choose the calm feeling of safety and happiness that comes with reconnecting with my Source… I open to Love’s Presence… I open to Love’s eternal Oneness… All this comes when I am willing to choose Peace in each present moment… I am in gratitude that these gifts are mine as I am willing to accept them.

Returning to the Harmony of Spirit

Sometimes our thoughts can get into a tangled mess, like when our hair gets all messed up. If we ask, our Inner Teacher can comb out our thoughts and take the knots out so that they are smooth and in harmony again. Our Sacred Self brings peace into our lives.

The more you practice going to your Inner Teacher for clarity, the easier it comes and flows with perfect synchronicity. Your sense of gratitude increases. Your sense of safety and well-being expands. You are being gently led Home by your Inner Teacher, Who is always there for you. (from Listen and Receive 30-Day Home Study Program, Week 4, p. 3. Our natural state is in perfect harmony with Love, our Source. We are in perfect harmony with the Love that is the truth in everyone and everything. When we feel out of harmony, discouraged, disgruntled, unhappy or afraid, it is only because we are believing that we are separate from our Source.

To return to harmony, we need only ask for and accept the guidance of our Inner Teacher. With our willingness, we return to our natural state and experience the peace of God. This is our practice for today.

Receiving the Gifts Forgiveness Offers

Today it will be given you to feel the peace forgiveness offers, and the joy the lifting of the veil holds out to you.

Before the light you will receive today the world will fade until it disappears, and you will see another world arise you have no words to picture. Now we walk directly into light, and we receive the gifts that have been held in store for us since time began, kept waiting for today. (A Course in Miracles, T-pI.122.11:2-12:2)

Right now is the time to receive God’s gifts. The Holy Spirit has been patiently waiting for our willingness to return to the truth. This time is now.

Peace, happiness and joy are the gifts that are eternally ours. Through forgiveness, letting go of judgment, we let that time be now. Peace, joy and happiness are in our mind waiting to be received as we are willing to let the veil of separation be lifted. We receive these gifts and share them with all.

Seeing Through the Lens of Our Inner Teacher

Today we recognize that we want to see the world the way our inner Teacher sees it. We want to see past what is false to the truth that is always there. We place our trust in the knowing of our inner Teacher today. We step back and listen to Its perspective. We are willing to let our minds be healed and be instruments of extending our inner Teacher’s peace.

We are grateful for all the help we receive as our willingness increases. We have only one purpose today and that is to be receptive to our inner Teacher and to extend what we are learning to everyone.

From Uncertainty to Safety

In the world there are myriad forms of “threats” to our safety and well being. This is inherent in the ego’s basic idea of separation. The body’s eyes focus on these forms, being unable to see beyond appearances.

Gratefully we have in our minds the means to see beyond the appearances of form. The Holy Spirit brings us the Vision of Christ, which sees the Love of God everywhere without regard to the appearances in form. In the oneness of that Love, there is perfect safety. There is nothing real that can change God’s eternal Love.

As we can learn to see with the Vision of Christ, we will see the Presence of Love everywhere, in everything and in everyone. As we let this Vision guide us in each moment, the sense of uncertainty and danger fades, and we feel the comfort and peace of changeless Love more and more. This Loving Presence will guide our doing in the world so that what the ego once used to reinforce the sense of weakness and threat is now used to bring blessing and the experience of God’s strength in us.

Our practice today is to be open to the Vision of Christ and let It guide us, moment by moment.

Salvation’s Prayer

Father, You stand before me and behind, beside me, in the place I see myself, and everywhere I go. You are in all the things I look upon, the sounds I hear, and every hand that reaches for my own. In You time disappears, and place becomes a meaningless belief. For what surrounds Your Son and keeps him safe is Love itself. There is no source but this, and nothing is that does not share its holiness; that stands beyond Your one creation, or without the Love which holds all things within itself. Father, Your Son is like Yourself. We come to You in Your Own Name today, to be at peace within Your everlasting Love. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.264.1)

Today we let opening to God’s Love be our highest priority. We are willing to accept the truth of Love’s Presence in everything we see or think of. Love’s Presence is beyond form, but ever present everywhere. And for this we are in deep gratitude. In gratitude we welcome the truth in our brothers and see it in ourselves.
