Let Love Carry You Today

Place, then, your future in the Hands of God. For thus you call the memory of Him to come again, replacing all your thoughts of sin and evil with the truth of love. …Who entrusts himself to God has also placed the world within the Hands to which he has himself appealed for comfort and security. He lays aside the sick illusions of the world along with his, and offers peace to both. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.194.8:1-2.4-5)

Let your mind rest in stillness… Hand over every concern, worry or doubt to the Light… It knows what to do with it… Remember you are in God’s Hands… You are safe and innocent… healed and whole… completely protected by His Love… Your beingness resides in Him… Let every thought of conflict fall away…

Let yourself be carried by God’s all-powerful Love… Let yourself be shown that only Love is real… You remain in Love, as Love… Let yourself follow the flow of Love today… Let Love carry you through the day… Continue to receive Love and extend Love… With this practice you will remember you remain as Love created you… Trust in Love today.

You Are Spirit

We state again the truth about your Self, the holy Son of God Who rests in you; whose mind has been restored to sanity. You are the spirit lovingly endowed with all your Father’s Love and peace and joy. You are the spirit which completes Himself, and shares His function as Creator. He is with you always, as you are with Him.

Spirit am I, a holy Son of God, free of all limits, safe and
healed and whole, free to forgive, and free to save the world. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.97.2,7:2)

Today we practice remembering our true Identity. We practice being mindful of our thoughts and handing over all thoughts that do not reflect the idea that we are one Self, safe and healed and whole.

We honor our Father today with willingness to let go of a false identity of being separate and alone, without the strength of our Father’s Love. Today we would remember that we are still as God created us.

Seeing Past Appearances

All we truly want is to remember Who we really are, and that means remember Who everyone is. When we remember Who we really are, we know that our interests are the same as everyone’s — we all want to remember that we are Love, in Love.

To do this, we need to look past the images and appearances of the world. This is done through forgiveness, letting go of the false belief in separation we have carried with us since time began. As we look past appearances, our brother’s cease to be a potential adversary or source of conflict and we recognize them as our dear Friends, Who are one with us. This is how we must see if we would be happy and at peace.

Removing the Veil That Hides God’s Gifts

God’s plan for your salvation cannot change, nor can it fail. Be thankful it remains exactly as He planned it. Changelessly it stands before you like an open door, with warmth and welcome calling from beyond the doorway, bidding you to enter in and make yourself at home, where you belong.

Here is the answer! Would you stand outside while all of Heaven waits for you within? Forgive and be forgiven. As you give you will receive.

…Today it will be given you to feel the peace forgiveness offers, and the joy the lifting of the veil holds out to you. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.122.5:1-6:4;11:2)

As we forgive, we feel God’s blessing because we are no longer denying His gifts. He has given us perfect happiness, perfect peace, and all His Love. They are already ours. Forgiveness removes the veil that hides His gifts from us, and we remember we are carried safely in His Love. We practice accepting His gifts today by letting Holy Spirit be our interpreter in every situation.

Making Way for Truth to Be Reborn

Let us be still an instant, and forget all things we ever learned, all thoughts we had, and every preconception that we hold of what things mean and what their purpose is. Let us remember not our own ideas of what the world is for. We do not know. Let every image held of everyone be loosened from our minds and be swept away.

Be innocent of judgment, unaware of any thoughts of evil or of good that ever crossed your mind of anyone. Now do you know him not. But you are free to learn of him, and learn of him anew. Now is he born again to you, and you are born again to him, without the past that sentenced him to die, and you with him. Now is he free to live as you are free, because an ancient learning passed away, and left a place for truth to be reborn. (A Course in Miracles T-31.I.12-13)

Holding on to our learning from the past is a defense against the truth. Whenever we think we know on our own what anything means, we are drawing upon our past learning and denying the truth. It is this habit that must be undone to make way for the truth, and the happiness and peace that comes with it.

If we want to be happy, we have to clear the way for truth to be reborn in our minds. The Holy Spirit is in our minds to help us do this. We have one simple task: To be vigilant for all attempts to give meaning on our own and offer them to Holy Spirit with willingness to receive His meaning in their place. This is how we let truth be reborn in our minds. By taking away the defenses that have kept the truth that is eternally there from our awareness, we make way for truth’s acceptance.

Learning of Our Innocence

Whenever you are in doubt what you should do, think of His Presence in you, and tell yourself this, and only this:

He leadeth me and knows the way, which I know not. Yet He will never keep from me what He would have me learn. And so I trust Him to communicate to me all that He knows for me.

Then let Him teach you quietly how to perceive your guiltlessness, which is already there. (A Course in Miracles T-14.III.19)

To perceive truly, we must see only innocence. The Holy Spirit is in our minds to teach us this way of seeing. When we see only innocence, we experience the deep peace of knowing that harm is impossible and we are safe in Love. When we see only innocence, we see only Love.

The practice of asking Holy Spirit within to show us the truth of innocence and Love in every circumstance is the path to awakening. It is how we remember Who we are in truth. Today we practice letting ourselves join with Holy Spirit’s vision and see our brother as our Self.

Receiving God’s Peace and Comfort

His gentle Voice is calling from the known to the unknowing. He would comfort you, although He knows no sorrow. He would make a restitution, though He is complete; a gift to you, although He knows that you have everything already. He has Thoughts which answer every need His Son perceives, although He sees them not. For Love must give, and what is given in His Name takes on the form most useful in a world of form. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.186.13)

Our practice for today is to be still and listen. Our practice is to be willing to receive peace and extend peace. Our practice is to be willing to see past dreams to the truth of our eternal oneness. Every minute of this day is another opportunity to let God’s Will be done through us. And we give thanks.
