Let Us Reflect Heaven’s Love Today

Today we go with God’s Love in our hearts and in our minds. As we receive God’s Thoughts in our hearts and minds, we naturally extend Love to everyone. We feel the joy of giving as we have received. We feel the peace of God’s uncomplicated, all inclusive Love. We feel the safety and trust in knowing that God’s Love is everywhere. We accept Heaven as Heaven is. We reflect Heaven’s Love today.

We Are All the Same Spirit of Love

You are the spirit lovingly endowed with all your Father’s Love and peace and joy. You are the spirit which completes Himself, and shares His function as Creator. He is with you always, as you are with Him.

Give Him the minutes which He needs today, to help you understand with Him you are the spirit that abides in Him, and that calls through His Voice to every living thing; offers His sight to everyone who asks; replaces error with the simple truth. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.97.2:2-3;4:4)

The path to peace is through forgiveness. As we accept Holy Spirit’s sight, we see past appearances in the world to the one Light we share with everyone in God. This Light is not seen with the body’s eyes. It is the vision that comes with accepting that we are Spirit, one with the Spirit of Love That created us.

With this vision, all judgment is laid aside and guilt along with it. As we remember that we are Spirit, we are at peace. We know that nothing is outside of Spirit, harm is impossible and we experience the joy of extending Love to all. This is the gift we give ourselves when we remember that we are Spirit.

Accepting God’s Eternal Calm

Only the Love of God will protect you in all circumstances. It will lift you out of every trial, and raise you high above all the perceived dangers of this world into a climate of perfect peace and safety. It will transport you into a state of mind that nothing can threaten, nothing can disturb, and where nothing can intrude upon the eternal calm of the Son of God.

Put not your faith in illusions. They will fail you. Put all your faith in the Love of God within you; eternal, changeless and forever unfailing. This is the answer to whatever confronts you today. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.50.3:1-4:4)

Today we let our minds sink into a place of inner peace… Today we practice letting peace lead the way… As we open to God’s gift of peace, we become aware of Holy Spirit’s inspiration in how to be truly helpful… As we choose peace in the present moment, all that is not important fades away… In peace we know that “nothing can intrude upon the eternal calm of the Son of God.”… We remember that the Love of God is all that is important and all that sustains us…

Listening to the Voice for God

Listen in deep silence. Be very still and open your mind. Go past all the raucous shrieks and sick imaginings that cover your real thoughts and obscure your eternal link with God. Sink deep into the peace that waits for you beyond the frantic, riotous thoughts and sights and sounds of this insane world. You do not live here. We are trying to reach your real home. We are trying to reach the place where you are truly welcome. We are trying to reach God. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.49.4)

God’s eternal message to us is, “You are welcome Here.” He created us as part of Himself and has never changed His mind about us. When we choose to identify with separation, we believe we are unwelcome to God. But this is just a projection of our own rejection of God’s gift of His perfect Love.

This is why it is important to practice listening in deep silence. As we lay aside the cacophony of the ego’s thoughts, we make way for the simple certainty of God’s Love to return to our awareness. This is all we really need because this is What we are. This is how we remember that we are sustained by God’s Love and we can relax into His certain care.

In God We Rest

We rest in God. It is in this rest that we see the path that leads us Home. As we rest in God, we recognize that we need do nothing but accept what God has given us — His peace, His joy, His Love. There is nothing else. No substitute illusion can offer anything we really want. We rest in God and remember Who we are. We rest in God and know that all our brothers are there with us. There can be no greater joy than to remember we rest in God.

One Problem, One Solution

This is our prayer for today: Holy Spirit, help us not use this [person, situation, problem] to make separation appear real. Help us look past the shadows of separation to the Light of Love in all things. Help us let go of the layers of past “memories” that we have used to hide the eternal presence of Love that is now. Help us remember right now that we are safe in the eternal Love of God and have never left His Love, despite our dreams of being separate and alone in a world of problems. Help us remember to join You in happy laughter as we accept that, in Reality, we rest in God eternally.

Awakening with Holy Spirit

Steady our feet, our Father. Let our doubts be quiet and our holy minds be still, and speak to us. We have no words to give to You. We would but listen to Your Word, and make it ours. Lead our practicing as does a father lead a little child along a way he does not understand. Yet does he follow, sure that he is safe because his father leads the way for him.

So do we bring our practicing to You. And if we stumble, You will raise us up. If we forget the way, we count upon Your sure remembering. We wander off, but You will not forget to call us back. Quicken our footsteps now, that we may walk more certainly and quickly unto You. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.ReviewV.Intro.2:1-3:5)

Today we choose with You as our Guide, Holy Spirit. Today we focus on following You and not what we have learned from the past. Today we step back and listen to Your Inspiration for how to see every brother and myself. With Your Help, we will see the Light of Love beyond every image in the world. We are sure that You will support our remembering every step of the way.
