Peace on Earth. Good Will Toward All Men

The attainment of a steady and constant state of peace can be said to be the goal of A Course in Miracles. A peaceful mind is quiet, and a quiet mind easily attains the condition in which God is remembered. A peaceful mind is happy and shares its happiness with everyone. A peaceful mind is kind, for it looks on everyone as itself. Its gratitude is offered to all, for it perceives the gifts it is constantly receiving from its brothers. Love and kindness are the hallmarks of a peaceful mind, offered to all its brothers without conditions, asking nothing in return.” (From the Christ Mind, pages 202-203)

We dedicate today and every day to the practice of receiving and extending the peace of God. As our willingness to receive peace expands, the Light of our true Self shines in our mind and brings with It the awareness of what is true.

As we consistently choose to receive and extend peace, the veil is lifted and we are able to experience the real world, the world beyond illusions. The ego thought system is seen as meaningless and without effect. As we consistently choose peace, we are choosing to let Holy Spirit be our Guide. And lasting joy and happiness are the result.
