Recognizing the Truth Beyond Appearances

Letting the Holy Spirit guide all our thoughts is essential for our happiness. The ego is the denial of happiness because it is the denial of Love. We have been accustomed to following the ego’s lead, seeking for happiness where it cannot be found. Sometimes it seems that we find some happiness in the world, but then circumstances change and what seemed to make us happy goes away. This is because the ego does not know the way to happiness.

Today we again practice keeping our minds open to the Holy Spirit’s lead. We are willing to let Him be our Interpreter in each moment. He will teach us to recognize the truth beyond appearances. He will teach us to see the Love and the innocence that is always true. With this practice we will have a happy day.
