Remembering We Are Love

Mary:
In this morning’s reading in A Course in Miracles, the key phrase that is helpful to my awakening is, “God is but Love, and therefore so am I.” Today my function is to experience this, not only to take in the words, but to allow the feeling of this truth to come through. As I open to the experience of being only Love, there is a powerful knowing that everyone is now the same Love that I am. There are no differences in Love. This universal Love is the truth about us all right now because Love is eternal and changeless.

Today as I observe all the stories going on in this world of separation, I see that I can very quietly remember the truth about us all. I can remember that we are all share in God’s universal Love. This remembering helps all the stories of guilt and danger to fade — all the stories of oil spills and conflict — they are simply reflections of the false belief that we could be separate from God.

The laughing Buddha comes to mind as I practice opening to the truth that we are all God’s Love eternally and none of the scary stories are true. We are all still safe as God created us. Our Father has made a heavenly Home for us and we are willing to cease our mind wanderings. God is but Love, and so is God’s one Son — and this includes everyone; no one is left behind, no one is forgotten. Today I am willing to experience this truth. This is my top priority.

Robert:
All I really want is to remember Who I am. Today I can take steps that will lead me closer to this goal. Today I will practice being mindful of my thoughts and feelings and looking at all of them with the Holy Spirit. He will help me sort the true from the false. He will help me see the Love beyond the images of the world. He will help me see the Love that I am. So today I will step back and let Him lead the way.
