The Great Awakening

This is what stood out to us in our reading this morning:

Say then to your brother:
I give you to the Holy Spirit as part of myself. I know that you will be released, unless I want to use you to imprison myself. In the name of my freedom I choose your release, because I recognize that we will be released together. …Accept the holy instant as this year is born, and take your place, so long left unfulfilled in the Great Awakening. …And let all your relationships be made holy for you. (T-15.XI.10:4-7,10,12)

My practice for today is to participate in the Great Awakening by letting all my relationships be made holy for me. My job is to step back in peace all through the day and let the Holy Spirit show me the holiness of every brother I meet or even think of. This is how I choose my release because I recognize that we will be released together. Seeing holiness (the Christ) is all I need today.

I participate in the Great Awakening by letting the Light of Love show me the truth in each moment. To do this, I need to be vigilant for peace and set aside my judgments and beliefs about everything I think I see. The body’s eyes and everything it sees were made as a barrier to obscure what the Light of Love reveals. As I strengthen my focus on the vision Love shows me, the images of the world fade into the background. This is my practice today.
