WB Lesson 104

I seek only what belongs to me in truth. God’s gifts of joy and peace are all I want.

Hourly practice: I seek only what belongs to me in truth, And joy and peace are my inheritance.

My synopsis for WB Lesson 104: I would not keep the substitutes I made to replace God’s gifts of joy and peace. I will let go al meaningless and self-made gifts made for the illusion of other goals and other gifts.

I seek instead that which is truly mine and ask to recognize what God has given me. I clear the holy place in my mind, where His gifts of joy and peace are welcome and I come in confidence aware that what He gives, belongs to me in truth. I simply clear the way by recognizing His Will is done already, that joy and peace are God’s eternal gifts.

Now, do I want to know God’s Will for me? I will unite my will with His and recognize the same as being one.

WB Lesson 101

God’s Will for me is perfect happiness.

Can I say this of my own? All things that I have sought for on my own have never brought perfect happiness. The thoughts I think on my own are not real, have no meaning and do not bring peace and joy. I do not know what true happiness is. My sinlessness is guaranteed by God. Only Love is real. God Wills that I know my Self.

Lesson synopsis: If sin [belief in separation] is real, then punishment is justified and cannot be escaped. If sin is real then forgiveness must be purchased through suffering and happiness must be illusion. If sin is real salvation must be pain and suffering can never be escaped. If sin is real salvation/forgiveness has become your bitter enemy, the curse of God upon you who have killed His Son (your true Self).

The exercises of today’s idea teach sin is not real, and all you believe that comes from sin never happened for it had no cause. Accept Atonement/forgiveness today with an open mind, which cherishes no lingering belief that you have made a devil of God’s Son. There is no sin, suffering is causeless, and pain is only the sign that you have misunderstood yourself, mistaking an image of insanity as your Self.

Turn to the Will of God in confidence that it will set you free from all consequences sin has made from feverish/sick imagination. Say: God’s Will for me is perfect happiness. There is no sin; it has no consequence.
Reminding yourself frequently: God’s Will for me is perfect happiness. This is the truth, because there is no sin.

WB Lesson 99 Cliffsnotes

Salvation and forgiveness are the same. Both terms imply a thing impossible (something different from the Will of God) but yet has occurred, resulting in a state of conflict seen between what IS and what could never be.

The impossible is what you need forgiveness for, saving from. The mind that sees illusions thinks them real. They have existence in that they are thoughts. And yet they are not real because the mind that thinks these thoughts is insane or separate from God.

What joins the separated mind and thoughts with Mind and Thought which are forever one? What but a Thought of God could be a plan by which the never done is overlooked and sin (separation) forgotten which was never real?

Holy Spirit looks on what you see, yet does He know one thing still is true: God is still Love and what you “see” is not His Will. This is the Thought that saves and forgives, because it lays no faith in what is not created by the only Source/Cause it knows.

Holy Spirit has one answer to appearances; regardless of their form, their size, their depth or any attribute they seem to have: Salvation is my only function here. God still is Love, and this is not His Will.

All the world of pain is not HIs Will. Forgive yourself the thought He wanted this for you. Let the Thought with which He has replaced all your mistakes enter the darkened places of your mind that thought the thoughts that never were His Will. Let in this Light and you will find no obstacles to what He wills for you.

It is God’s Will your mind be one with His. It is God’s Will that He has only one Son. It is God’s Will that His one Son is you. Think of these things in your practicing today. Then turn to Him Who shares your function here, and let Him teach you what you need to learn to lay all fear aside, and know your Self as Love which has no opposite in you.

You cannot lose the gifts your Father gave. You do not want to be another self. You have no function that is not of God. Forgive yourself the one you think you made. Forgiveness and salvation are the same. Forgive what you have made and you are saved.

Remind yourself: Salvation is my only function here.
So do you lay forgiveness on your mind and let all fear be gently laid aside, that Love may find Its rightful place in you and show you that you are the Son of God—God’s one creation.

WB 98 Cliff’s Notes

I will accept my part in God’s plan for salvation.

All our/my sins are washed away by realizing they were only mistakes. The guiltless have no fear, for they are safe and recognize their safety.

He (H.S.) will give the words you use in today’s practice the deep conviction and certainty you lack.
I will accept my part in God’s plan for salvation. Give Him the words and He will do the rest.

We/I side with truth and not illusions. We/I have a mighty purpose to fulfill, and have been given everything we/I need to reach our/my goal. Not one illusion stands in our/my way, for we/I have been absolved from all errors.

He will: enable you to understand your special function; open up the way to happiness, and peace & trust are His gifts; respond with 100% faith, joy and certainty that what you say is true; be with you each practice period, exchanging every instant of time you offer Him for timelessness and peace.  And you will have the conviction from Him Who knows the function you have on earth as well as Heaven.

Is it not worth five minutes of your time: to be able to accept the happiness God has given you; to recognize your special function here; but a small request to gain a reward that has no measure?

Practice Listening

Recently I received this simple truth from my Inner Teacher.

Spirit:  You are forgiven because you are completely innocent.

The ego does not know this and would not have you learn it. You must consistently practice listening to the Teacher who does not come from the thought system of the world. Only from this Teacher/Guide do you learn and remember the truth.

Problem and Answer

Spirit:  In this world there seem to be insurmountable problems. And they shift and change as illusion is added to illusion. Every illusion was made to keep truth out of your awareness. Everyone accepts what they want to be the truth. And they reject what would contradict their belief.

Are you satisfied with the outcome of your beliefs? Have they made you happy? Do you enjoy peace of mind? If not, would it not benefit you to question what you so willingly accept as being true? It is not reason enough to choose it because that has been your choice before. The outcome of your past choices has kept the idea of separation intact, making resolution seem impossible.
....God has placed the answer together with the problem, so they cannot be separated by time. WB 90.3,5.

It is up to you to ask to see things differently, that a (new) thought that reflects the truth can replace the thought of error. In this way, you choose to release what is not there and give welcome to healed perception. This will bring you results that are wholly beneficent to everyone, including yourself. This will bring you happiness and peace of mind.

Choosing the Goal In Advance

Recently these thoughts were brought to my awareness.

Stop attacking the body for what it did not do.

The body is a wholly neutral thing—whose purpose do I use it for? Do I use it for love or for illusion? What is in my mind will be extended or projected, it is always one or the other. Am I extending love or projecting fear? What am I choosing right now?

If I am sad, I have chosen fear, the false image that I have made. This is a mistake which only needs correction, yet I must give it to the One whose only function is correction, I cannot correct it myself. In this line of “thinking” I am simply following a pattern that is worn, shabby and not fruitful. This is where I must be willing to choose again. Will I relinquish the meaningless thoughts that I made, so that reality can take their place?

What do I want to come of this day or this lesson? I must set the goal first.

The value of deciding in advance what you want to happen is simply that you will perceive the situation as a means to make it happen. You will therefore make every effort to overlook what interferes with the accomplishment of your objective, and concentrate on everything that helps you meet it. T.17.VI.
