Do I Want to Be Happy?

Do I want to be happy? Then I have to allow Spirit to decide for me. I must accept the fact that what I choose on “my own” which is with the false egoic mind, I am mistaken. From that standpoint I can only be wrong as the false ideas of separation are themselves based on fantasy.

“What if nothing was as it is? What if everything was different than it is? That was an impossible question, pure fantasy. But then you judged the fantasy as if it was real and decided through judgment that it was. This judgment did not make the unreal real. ....The sin you judged yourself for was the sin of making what isn’t. But what isn’t cannot be made, and so you have not sinned.

“The guilt that you feel and believe and express is all part of the fantasy. .... but your belief doesn’t make it true. .... You reverse the “laws” that made the fantasy by ceasing to play the game. You let go of judgment and all perceived guilt. You no longer believe what isn’t true.” [the fantasy you’ve made in play].

My fantasy can never be made true no matter how long I play in it. The playing becomes wearying and I experience sadness instead of fun (joy). At least I can decide I do not like the way I feel.
And so I hope I have been wrong. I want another way to look at this. (T.30.1.8-11)
This choice opens the door to Spirit for His interpretation; I allow His thought to replace my ridiculous thought of separateness.

What Do I Choose?

Dream: this was the part that stood out to me:

I asked mom if she had looked at any of the brochures of homes that we’d left for her. She hadn’t because she wanted to remain in her house. She’d rather be alone than be with “strangers.”
I explained to her that I couldn’t/wouldn’t be around there any longer to help her, finally stating: “You’ve got to choose life. There is nothing more I can “do” for you. You have to choose to live. If you want to sit in your chair, doing nothing, I can not help you.”

That last sentence seemed to me was Spirit telling me I can choose to sit in my chair, doing nothing, and He cannot go against my wish or desire. Of course, that is the false ego desire to be alone.

Spirit: You have to choose to live. I cannot go against your choice.

Your purpose is to free yourself from your dream of hell, of isolation. Your purpose is to forgive the dream you made, the “life” you made, for it is not real.
You could never be without your Source which is Love. When you choose to sleep you are not extending love—and not giving is not receiving.

When you choose to live, you choose Love, you accept your only purpose for being here, to wake from the dream of separation. Choose to join with Life/God and it is done.

Decide that you have been wrong in your choice, and H.S. removes everything (thought) that would hurt you, with only truth remaining. In Truth is your true joy, your true Life. You live in Love and no place else. Only the split mind wants this world to be reality, for here it thinks it can keep you from truth.

Yet you have the power, the energy to release this dream world. It is not your home. Your only home is Heaven, the complete awareness of One.

Remember that I cannot choose for you, without your consent or collaboration, I cannot go against your will.

T-8.IV.4. Do you not think the world needs peace as much as you do? 2 Do you not want to give it to the world as much as you want to receive it? 3 For unless you do, you will not receive it. 4 If you want to have it of me, you must give it. 5 Healing does not come from anyone else. 6 You must accept guidance from within. 7 The guidance must be what you want, or it will be meaningless to you. 8 That is why healing is a collaborative venture. 9 I can tell you what to do, but you must collaborate by believing that I know what you should do. 10 Only then will your mind choose to follow me. 11 Without this choice you could not be healed because you would have decided against healing, and this rejection of my decision for you makes healing impossible.

T-21.V.2. Reality needs no cooperation from you to be itself. 2 But your awareness of it needs your help, because it is your choice. 3 Listen to what the ego says, and see what it directs you see, and it is sure that you will see yourself as tiny, vulnerable and afraid. 4 You will experience depression, a sense of worthlessness, and feelings of impermanence and unreality. 5 You will believe that you are helpless prey to forces far beyond your own control, and far more powerful than you. 6 And you will think the world you made directs your destiny. 7 For this will be your faith. 8 But never believe because it is your faith it makes reality.

Synopsis for What Is the Body?

I imagine that I have made a body to keep love out and make myself separate from other parts of Love. I regard myself as the body for how else could I be certain I remain within the body keeping love outside?

The decay and death of the body I think is double safety, for what else would prove that God’s eternal Son can be destroyed?

The body is a dream, made to be fearful it serves the purpose given it. But I can change the purpose that the body will obey by changing what I think it is for.

The body becomes (or is) the means by which God’s Son returns to sanity. The goal of Heaven (Oneness) has been exchanged for the pursuit of hell (separation). Extending my hand to my brother to help him walk along the road with me, now the body is holy, now it serves to heal the mind that it was made to kill.

I will identify with what I think will make me safe. Being a dream the body is not here. My safety lies in truth, not in lies. Love is my safety. Fear does not exist. Identify with Love and I am safe. Identify with Love and I am home. Identify with Love and I find my Self.

Morning Thoughts

Spirit:
You are learning that what you thought might be interesting is only a nightmare. You are learning that it is not what you really want. In your choice to forget, you became lost. The power (strength) of your belief is what makes it appear as real.

Love dispels or displaces fear. Until you heard the ego voice you knew nothing of fear. Choose then to hear only the loving and lovable. Hear the love or the call for Love, for those are the only alternatives your really have. Every fear appears as a call for Love, to be healed and whole; to remember the truth in every passing image or thought.

You waver back and forth, still hoping to grasp some favor or value from this world. It will never be home or salvation for you. Choose to see love and that is all you will receive. Choose anything else and you wish to remain asleep, victim to what is “done” to you.

WB Lesson 263 Thoughts

Jesus tells me I made the body, to hide from God. It is simply another image I have made to make separation appear real. It is another toy in the game of sin and still I can change the purpose I have given to it.

When I use the body under the direction of my holy Self, then it is a tool for healing the mind that thinks it is doomed by corruption. The body can become a device for communication from Love to love, to lead the mind out of madness to return to sanity.

~~Sickness attempts to make the innocent (Son of God) guilty. It would make my brother guilty of my attack.  Yet all attack is self attack. I attack my body to make my brother “wrong” and worthy of guilt (punishment), such it the logic of the egoic mind. It thinks it can condemn another and escape condemnation itself. This is delusion. The symptoms of this body show me where there is still a need to heal my thoughts.

WB Lesson 262 Thoughts

Whenever I am perceiving differences, I am image making. I am mistaken in thinking those images are real. I think I am afraid of the images I “see” but I am only afraid of what I believe I have done.

Love is not divisible and I could never take away from or harm Love. I need only allow Love into my dream of fear. Love will gently sweep away the wisps of images that keep me from my truth.

WB Lesson 258 Thoughts

WB lesson 258:  Let me remember that my goal is God.

(In first person)
“All that I need do is train my mind to overlook all little senseless aims and to remember my goal is God. His memory is hidden in my mind, obscured only by my pointless little goals which offer nothing and do not exist. .... God is my only goal, my only Love. I have no aim but to remember Him.”

My only goal is to “walk” to God. God is everything I want, everything I seek is only God. God is but Love, therefore so am I. When I find the memory of God in my mind, All is revealed to me, the madness is undone. WB lesson 67.3,2-3. “If Love created you like Itself, this Self must be in you. And somewhere in your mind It is there for you to find.” [italics mine]

In giving up the meaningless goals of specialness, the meaningless pursuits of the separated mind, I remember the only truth there is: I remain as Love created me. I am at Home, forever one within the Mind of Love.

By laying down the meaningless goals, I find my mind open to my holy Self. My will is the same as God’s, to remember Him and know our Wholeness. Giving up the meaningless search in the world outside the body, I give my mind the rest and the quiet, in which healing arrives.
