A New Way to See

Listening

Dear Everyone, I share with you an answer from Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, I’m willing to listen.
Can you explain to me, my tendency to sleep when I want to listen to You? Is my willingness weak?

Spirit: Stilling the chatter box in the mind is the prerequisite for listening. Stilling the noise is similar, in your experience, to sleep. Stilling the noise, allows focus to be placed in other areas of mind. This need not be difficult, but with egoic resistance, there seems to be loss in focus and listening.

Resistance may be high, but it is not without limit. In other words, resistance can only go so far. With practice you become consistent in receiving—was this not the case while you were in the hospital? With practice, you could hear H.S.’s Voice at any moment. With true desire you heard the Voice for Love. It was also your intent to be receptive to that Voice. Your desire to be open and to “learn” and resolve the lesson strengthened communication. It was the open communication that you truly desired.

While you have fear and doubt, the open communication does not flow. You doubt your goodness (god-ness), you doubt your internal strength, you doubt your wholeness.
Every doubt can be given to Holy Spirit.
Any thought that would diminish your goodness, your wholeness, your union, can be given to H.S. By giving up such thoughts, the truth in you can radiate to all minds. Giving up thoughts of doubt and fear, you remove the blocks to your awareness of Love.

When you seem to stumble and fall, reach out to Holy Spirit. Remember that egoic resistance is not without limit. Resistance is very limited and is only imagined in an insane dream made from guilt. You may dream, but you are never alone. Dreams have not changed reality or What you are.
You are whole, you are safe, you are loved.  You are as God created you—without end.

Attachment

Dear Everyone, I share some “morning” thoughts with you. I have been reading Rev. Myron’s Daily Lessons (they are posted on her web site).
This is what stood out to me today, from Holy Spirit, Lesson 233:

“Imagine the thoughts moving through your mind and you are just watching them. What a strange parade they make. Playfully wave goodbye to them if you wish.
Just don’t reach out and grab them. This is what you are doing when you feel guilty or when you think they are important.
When this happens you attach to the thought and you believe it is part of who you are. While this is not true, and you have no power
to actually change your holy Self, your belief is very powerful and absolutely effects your experience.
When you feel attached to your thoughts and beliefs you think they are you, and it becomes frightening and painful
to let them go because you think you are losing your very self when you do.”  (italics are mine)

This explanation was so clear to me today! I must have been truly willing to have my error shown to me.
I can see how I got discouraged when I chose not to listen to H.S. It just allowed the egoic mind to retake footing, and make it seem that I had not accomplished any healing at all.  I gave up hope, or belief that I would come to right-minded thinking. If I am not my thoughts, then what am I? I must allow Holy Spirit to tell me, by myself I do not know. I cannot rely on my own thinking or ideas or beliefs to define what I am. I have fooled my self into such a dream/nightmare of separation, that I could not know or distinguish the truth.
So I am attaching to my thoughts when I feel guilt, and I need to remind myself that I am not my thoughts. In this moment, using “I am not my thoughts,” is the same to me as, “I am not a body.”  The thoughts of which I am aware represent the beliefs and wrong-mind that holds them. I can look at those thoughts and not be attached to them.

Now I have the tools (WB Lessons) to un-think the stories that I have made up. I have the ability to use what Jesus has given us/me to let go of the false and accept the true.
When I experience feelings that I do not like, I can remember that I must be believing that some thought is what I am. I am letting an illusion replace the truth in my mind. This is where I ask H.S.’s help to see it differently, and accept His healing answer.

Dear Everyone, I support you, in looking at the thoughts and not becoming attached to them.
The reason they have come up, is to be undone by Love.    Blessings are our healings.

Judgment

Dear Everyone, I share some recent “morning” thoughts with you.

Judgment is a defense against the truth. In reality there are no differences, so there is nothing to compare. Love’s creation in one, whole, complete.

Judgment perpetuates the idea that I am different than my brother (s). Judgment is making error real, and to the egoic mind, not forgivable. When I judge anything, I condemn myself. There is no “other” out there, appearing outside of “me.” By making error real, I keep myself imprisoned in fear that what I do to others will be done to me. But it is only “I” that does anything.
From the insane (unreal) thought there could be anything outside of All There Is, came the belief that I had moved outside of God and became a separate self.

A zillion projections make this separate world with separate bodies appear real. Like a magician, I exchange one illusion for another, attempting to feel safe, certain, beyond attack or retaliation. Perpetuating a dream is not what Love created me for. An idea of Love was made to extend love. When love is extended there is no thought of fear, no alien ideas of separation.
When love is extended there is only Love.

There is no reason to attack myself in a dream. There is no reason to perpetuate fear (aloneness).
What is not real cannot have truth. Illusions in my mind have not made a body separate
from All That Is. I remain as Love created me. I remain an idea of Love; extending and still within Love. Illusion cannot be made real.
I am willing to stop seeing my illusions. I am willing to see differently, to see with Christ eyes, to listen with Holy Spirit’s ears, to move and speak as Holy Spirit moves and speaks.

I am as Love created me.
I am not a body. I am free.

Role of Chief Critic

Dear Everyone,

This morning, in the last part of a dream, I was sharing with a friend how my biggest fear was that I would not be able to let go of the ego, that insane voice.
When I woke, I heard: “I’m the Chief Critic.” I asked, who gave you this role?  Answer: “mother.”

The idea came that if I give up that role, that I’d be alone. Then came: “ I am not alone. I am safe in the arms of God.”
Nothing can harm me. Nothing can prevail against the truth. I am safe in the Love of God. I am as God created me.

The role of the chief critic was made in the attempt to have control over events (and) of life. It was made out of misperception that making others change will keep security (safeness), will keep balance (control), and keep failure (guilt) outside. The misperception keeps the role going.

I accepted this role thinking it was a sacred duty. But it is only a mistake. I can give this mistake to Holy Spirit for correction and undoing. I have denied the ways this role made me feel and think. I no longer deny the pain and grief that has been made. I decide that I am not happy and do not like the way I feel. Not liking the way I feel, I choose again, I choose the Holy Spirit to interpret for me. I choose Holy Spirit’s view and answer to whatever confronts me.

Being a critic is a defense against the truth. It tries to make sense of the unreal. It tries to make the unreal true. The critic denies the oneness of Love. It denies that I remain as Love created me. It denies the equality of God’s creation.

Dear Father, I am willing to change my mind. I am willing to release the role that I mistook as mine. I am willing to accept the function that is truly mine, as You created me.
I am willing to let go of the false ways of fearful thinking.
I am willing to follow the Guide that You have given me and everyone.
I am willing to listen and accept Love as my one purpose, peace as my only goal.
Thank you very much.
