Accepting Christ’s Vision Today

My Father, Christ has asked a gift of me, and one I give that it be given me. Help me to use the eyes of Christ today, and thus allow the Holy Spirit’s Love to bless all things which I may look upon, that His forgiving Love may rest on me. (A Course in Miracles W-pII.295.2)

Complexity is one of the ego’s principal mechanisms for making the world seem real. It makes problems appear to be impossible to resolve. On the other hand, Christ’s vision sees just one thing — changeless Love and nothing else. Nothing could be simpler, yet in this world it seems beyond reach.

But Christ vision will show us this simplicity, the oneness of Love that never changes, cannot be disturbed and extends eternally. Love is always there to see. As we give the gift of willingness to Christ in our minds, we are shown the Light of Love that dissolves the false images of the world. In this Light we see a forgiven world and we learn that we have been forgiven.

Today we offer Christ our willingness to see with His vision and accept His happy gift of forgiveness.
