Accepting the Love of God

Today my focus is on accepting the Love of God. The Love of God is all that there is in truth. And my job today is to accept the truth as it is.

I have believed that something else was there to see, and have suffered from my belief in the illusions of a world of separate bodies. I can be done with this if I so choose today.

This is why I have one focus: Accept the Love of God. This means that I must be willing to receive the truth. I must want the truth above all else. I must want to let go of what I think I made as Love’s replacement. I always get what I want in my heart of hearts. That is why I have just one focus today — to accept the Love of God.

Love is simple. Love is kind. Love is everywhere as I am willing to see the only true Reality.

Forgiveness is the means to accept the Love of God. God’s Love is ever present, but judgment makes me unaware of it. As I forgive and let go of substitutes for God’s Love, I see His Love everywhere. I see the radiant Light of Love in my brother shining back to me.

The images of the world fade in importance as the magnificence of Love is accepted. The world was made as a defense against Love. As I forgive, I let go of this defense. And once again I remember the quiet joy of the Self I share with all in Love.

My prayer today is to accept the Holy Spirit’s help in letting go of the barriers to acceptance of God’s Love.
