Being Part of the Solution

In our reading in A Course in Miracles this morning, this is what stood out to us:

You are the work of God, and His work is wholly lovable and wholly loving. This is how a man must think of himself in his heart, because this is what he is. The forgiven are the means of the Atonement. Being filled with spirit, they forgive in return. Those who are released must join in releasing their brothers, for this is the plan of the Atonement. Miracles are the way in which minds that serve the Holy Spirit unite with me for the salvation or release of all God’s creations.” (T-1.III.2:3-4,3:1-4)

My opportunity today is to see past the differences I see in bodies to the one Light of Christ, which is the truth in everyone. This practice brings me peace and joy. This practice is the means for the Atonement. It is how my mind is healed, because what I see in my brother, I am seeing in myself.

Do I want to be part of the solution or the problem? If I choose to identify a brother with his body and judge him based upon what the body does, I am part of the problem. I am joining with the ego thought system of separation. As I practice remembering that I am not a body and remain as God created me, along with everyone else, I am part of the solution — God’s plan for the Atonement.

Today I will practice being part of the solution. As I go shopping or talk on the phone or work at the computer, my job is to let the Love in me show me the Love beyond all form. With this as my focus, form is used in service of the Atonement instead of a barrier against it. This is my practice today.
