I Am Not a Body. I Am Free.

All sense of lack, vulnerability, unhappiness and dissatisfaction comes from believing I am a body. I don’t have to believe in this false image of what I am. A false image cannot be real, nor can it change what is real.

This is good news, because it means that I can let go of the false image and what is real will automatically take its place in my awareness. I will remember that the strength and Love of God are in me. I will remember that I have everything I need and I am perfectly safe. I will experience God’s joy as mine.

Today I ask the Holy Spirit to help me recognize the false image and let it go.


Freedom comes from remembering that all separate images are false. When I am lost in dreams of separation from Love’s oneness, it appears that there is great reason to be apprehensive and afraid. But the good news is that I can join with my inner Teacher Who shows me that all forms of separation are equally unreal. I don’t have to buy into fearful dreams.

I have a Friend in my mind That helps me see past illusions to the truth of Love’s oneness. I have a Friend That can bring me the awareness of the holy instant, if I am willing. I have a Friend That shows me that in truth there is nothing to fear, no matter what the dream may look like. We are all still as God created us. We are all still safe in the eternal Love of God and nothing has really happened to change God’s one Son.

Today my practice is to let this eternal truth return to my mind. Here is where true freedom lies.
