Individuality Is a Delusion. Oneness Is Real

My practice for today is to accept Love’s oneness as the only Reality. Through the body’s eyes it may look like separation is real, but my practice now is to keep my mind open to Love’s Reality. I let the Holy Spirit show me Love’s oneness behind every dream story of being separate and alone. I allow Holy Spirit to undo thoughts of separation throughout the day. This practice brings freedom. This practice brings peace and for this I give thanks.

In the quest for specialness, individuality is king. To maintain an individual identity, I must be different from everything else, a.k.a., be special. This quest makes awareness of Love impossible, because Love is one and has no differences.

Do I want to experience eternal, changeless Love, or do I want to continue the exhausting quest for specialness that never seems to satisfy? The only reason the quest for specialness seems to have value is because of the belief that specialness is a worthy substitute for Love. This can never be in truth.

I am learning that any time my peace is disturbed, it is because I believe my specialness, my individuality, is being threatened in some way. Thus when my peace is disturbed, I am giving myself a gift, an opportunity to bring the disturbing thought and feeling to the Holy Spirit and ask His help to see the truth beyond the disturbance. The Holy Spirit in my mind will help me let go of the false image that is threatened and accept the certain changelessness of the Love that is the truth of what I am. This is my practice for today.
