Holy Spirit, What Would You Have Me See?

Our purpose for today is to step back from the habitual patterns of the past and open to our true Self’s way of seeing. Happiness comes when we are willing to see through the eyes of Love. Happiness is always present as we allow the deep feeling of peace to rise to the surface of our mind. The peace that we receive, we naturally extend to all.

What an opportunity we have today — to see through the eyes of Love. Oh happy day!

There Is Nothing to Fear. God Is Here.

Fear blocks the flow of Love’s extension and the ability to receive inspiration and guidance. If we are experiencing fear, it is important to know that we do not have to keep this state of mind. We can turn over all our fearful thoughts to the loving guidance of our inner Teacher.

Our inner Teacher will shine a Light on every fearful thought as we are willing to hand it over and accept It’s gentle correction. In truth we are eternally safe in the Mind of God. As we are willing to open to the truth, what was fearful naturally disappears in the Light. Our eternal safety is assured because we remain safe in God.

Our practice today is to be vigilant to notice when fear thoughts rise to the surface of our mind. As they come up, we have another opportunity for mind healing. We know that we don’t have to keep these fearful ideas. We know that we can hand over these thoughts to be purified in the Light of Love. As we are immersed in the Love’s gentle peace, what is untrue naturally disappears. We are returned to the awareness that there is nothing to fear because God is here.

Recognizing the Truth Beyond Appearances

Letting the Holy Spirit guide all our thoughts is essential for our happiness. The ego is the denial of happiness because it is the denial of Love. We have been accustomed to following the ego’s lead, seeking for happiness where it cannot be found. Sometimes it seems that we find some happiness in the world, but then circumstances change and what seemed to make us happy goes away. This is because the ego does not know the way to happiness.

Today we again practice keeping our minds open to the Holy Spirit’s lead. We are willing to let Him be our Interpreter in each moment. He will teach us to recognize the truth beyond appearances. He will teach us to see the Love and the innocence that is always true. With this practice we will have a happy day.

Receiving and Extending God’s Love

Receiving God’s Love is my top priority… As I pay more and more attention to my top priority, I realize that God’s Love is all there is to give in truth… Inner Guidance will be there in each moment to show me the perfect way to extend the Love that I receive… I see the reflection of this Love in every person or situation I encounter… This brings deep peace…

I let the Light of my True Self shine through me today… I let it show me the Love beyond all appearances… It reminds me of my innocence and It shows me the innocence in everyone… It brings me the joy that is characteristic of Love… The quietness of Love’s peace will carry me through the day…

The Bountiful Harvest

The harvest of our forgiveness is happiness and peace. It is by our continuing practice of forgiveness that the mind is prepared to receive the bountiful gifts of our Creator. Doing our forgiveness work day by day, hour by hour, is the means by which a continuous flow of happiness, joy and peace is received and accepted. These are the fruits of our “labor.”

Today our practice is to hold our minds open to the Holy Spirit’s vision which will always show us our innocence and the innocence of everyone. With His help, we easily see past bodies and know that we are eternal Spirit and everyone is eternal Spirit. We feel safe and trust that we are being brought to the bountiful harvest that has been given.

Let Your World Be Gently Lit by Miracles

The miracle alone is your concern at present. Here is where we must begin. And having started, will the way be made serene and simple in the rising up to waking and the ending of the dream. When you accept a miracle, you do not add your dream of fear to one that is already being dreamed. Without support, the dream will fade away without effects. (A Course in Miracles, T-28.III.1:3-7)

To say, “I will there be Light,” is an invitation to the Holy Spirit for help to see past appearances to the Light that is always present, here and now. As we are willing to open to the Light, Love rushes in and washes away the false ideas that caused the appearances in the world. Where once separation was perceived, our unity is recognized. Fear is replaced by Love. Uncertainty is replaced by certainty. Sadness is replaced by joy.

Today our practice is to let the world by gently lit by miracles all through the day.

Let Holy Spirit Turn On the Light

We have been in the dark so long that we don’t always realize we are peering around trying to see in the darkness. When we are not at peace or happy, it is a clue to let Holy Spirit turn on the Light. Holy Spirit waits on welcome.

As we relax and let go, there is a natural, easy change of mind. What appeared difficult and hard is transformed into the experience of ease and gentleness. The rough seas are calmed. What appeared to be a mountain is transformed into a mole hill. It naturally feels easier to let the appearance pass by because it is recognized as meaningless.

As we learn to apply this to every circumstance where fear comes up, we learn we have a constant Companion That is ready and willing to turn on the Light in every darkened situation. We always have the Help available. It is our job to accept the Help. We do this by stepping back from our thoughts and allowing ourselves to return to a state of peace.

Turning on the Light allows Christ’s vision to transform our perception. We are able to see past the form to the truth of our unity in Love. In gratitude we accept the Help.
