Seeing Through Quiet Eyes

The real world holds a counterpart for each unhappy thought reflected in your world; a sure correction for the sights of fear and sounds of battle which your world contains. The real world shows a world seen differently, through quiet eyes and with a mind at peace. Nothing but rest is there. There are no cries of pain and sorrow heard, for nothing there remains outside forgiveness. And the sights are gentle. Only happy sights and sounds can reach the mind that has forgiven itself. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.8.2)

When we see the world through the Holy Spirit’s peace, we see the world quite differently. Peace shines a light on our perception and we more easily see the Light of Truth behind the images of this world. We see conflict and aggressiveness as calls for Love.

As we accept Holy Spirit’s peace, inspiration comes with it and we are able to be truly helpful… We easily extend Love instead of judgment… We experience feelings of safety, abundance and joy… We come from our true Nature and are shown the true Nature of every brother… All this comes as we see through the quiet and loving eyes of the Holy Spirit… And for this we give thanks.

Welcoming Christ’s Gift of Peace

Who uses but Christ’s vision finds a peace so deep and quiet, undisturbable and wholly changeless, that the world contains no counterpart. Comparisons are still before this peace. And all the world departs in silence as this peace envelops it, and gently carries it to truth, no more to be the home of fear. For love has come, and healed the world by giving it Christ’s peace. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.305.1)

Today we practice letting go and opening to the experience of God’s peace… We let the Holy Spirit be in charge of our mind… We let ourselves be carried as we receive Holy Spirit’s gentle correction of our perception… We let ourselves receive deeper levels of peace… We give thanks for Holy Spirit’s help today.

Freedom from the Ego Is Available Now

My sinlessness protects me from all harm.
My sinlessness ensures me perfect peace, eternal safety, everlasting love, freedom forever from all thought of loss; complete deliverance from suffering. And only happiness can be my state, for only happiness is given me. What must I do to know all this is mine? I must accept Atonement for myself, and nothing more. God has already done all things that need be done. And I must learn I need do nothing of myself, for I need but accept my Self, my sinlessness, created for me, now already mine, to feel God’s Love protecting me from harm, to understand my Father loves His Son; to know I am the Son my Father loves. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.337.1)

Forgiveness brings release from the belief that we have caused harm to our brother, to our Self or to our Creator. Forgiveness is based on the fact that nothing is real but the changeless Love of our Creator and our one Self. There is nothing we need to do but accept this fact and we will be free of the ego — the false belief that we have separated from Love.

Forgiveness makes way for the acceptance of our innocence. Sometimes it looks like we need to forgive a brother. Sometimes it looks like we need to forgive ourselves. The presence of guilt, pain or lack of peace of any kind is a sure sign that forgiveness is needed. Any circumstance in which these feelings are present is a reminder that we need to ask the Holy Spirit to show us the truth beyond these appearances and to help us see beyond them to the changeless Love that is ever present. This is how we free ourselves from the ego.

We Practice Accepting Healing Today

…the one responsibility of the miracle worker is to accept the Atonement for himself. The teacher of God is a miracle worker because he gives the gifts he has received. Yet he must first accept them. He need do no more, nor is there more that he could do. By accepting healing he can give it. (A Course in Miracles, M-7.3:2-6)

Today we make it a priority to open to Holy Spirit’s Thoughts… We want to see the world the way Holy Spirit sees it… We want to hand over all the meaning we have given to everything in this world… We want mind healing… We want to receive the blessings that come with it…

We want to remember we remain as God created us… Our true reality is that we rest in God eternally… All this comes as we consistently practice accepting mind healing all through the day.

We Bring Peace Wherever We Go

Your peace surrounds me, Father. Where I go, Your peace goes there with me. It sheds its light on everyone I meet. I bring it to the desolate and lonely and afraid. I give Your peace to those who suffer pain, or grieve for loss, or think they are bereft of hope and happiness. Send them to me, my Father. Let me bring Your peace with me. For I would save Your Son, as is Your Will, that I may come to recognize my Self. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.245.1)

Peace is the gift we give today… It is the state of mind we carry with us through the day… We remember our safety in God… We remember that we all are still as God created us, and that fear is nothing but a dream… We let God’s peace shine away false ideas… We let the door be open to the truth… We find our strength in God and know that we all are safe in God’s Love… all this comes as we bring peace wherever we go…

Love Goes with Us Wherever We Go

God goes with me wherever I go. How can I be alone when God always goes with me? How can I be doubtful and unsure of myself when perfect certainty abides in Him? How can I be disturbed by anything when He rests in me in absolute peace? How can I suffer when love and joy surround me through Him? Let me not cherish illusions about myself. I am perfect because God goes with me wherever I go. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.59.1)

We are so loved that were we to fully accept the Love that is eternally given us, we would be in absolute peace… Love goes with us wherever we go… No matter what disturbing appearance we may seem to see, the certainty and safety of changeless Love surrounds us…

With the acceptance of Love comes the vision of innocence… Love sees only Love, for nothing else is real… Love’s thoughts extend without limit and hold everything within Love’s kind and gentle Presence…

As we accept Love’s gifts, Love goes with us wherever we go… It lights our way and clears all seeming obstacles from our path… As we accept the Love that goes with us wherever we go, we remember we are innocent… we are safe… we are loved… we are Home.

We Let the Vision of Love Be Our Guide

Above all else I want to see differently. The world I see holds my fearful self-image in place, and guarantees its continuance. While I see the world as I see it now, truth cannot enter my awareness. I would let the door behind this world be opened for me, that I may look past it to the world that reflects the Love of God. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.56.3)

We let the door to the world that reflects truth be opened by going to the center of peace within. Truth and peace are always found together. As we quiet our minds and welcome peace, we are actually welcoming our Self. We are opening the door to the vision of our Self, Which always sees Love and innocence.

Our Self is eternally extending Love and joining with the Love in all things. If there appears to be a call for Love, our Self automatically responds with Love, for only Love is real.

As we let the vision of our Self guide all our doing, we experience the deep fulfillment that comes with accepting our only function. We are inspired by Love in all our thoughts, words and actions. Today we choose peace to let the vision of Love be our Guide in each moment.
