Seeing the One Self Everywhere

Mary:
We all have the same true Self… We are all united in that one Self… The one Self is not special because it is all inclusive… My job now is to recognize the same one Self in everyone. It is always there when I look for It. It is my job today to remember there is only one Self… and I am thankful this is so.

This means all the differences I see through the body’s eyes are meaningless… This means that all the ego’s continuous flow of problems are meaningless… Today it is my job to remember that my one Self is everywhere, changeless and eternal behind the dream of specialness. And I give thanks.

Robert:
“I am God’s Son, complete and healed and whole, shining in the reflection of His Love.” (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.14.1:1) This is what I would remember today in all my doing. It is impossible to experience the fullness of God’s Love within the limitations of the world of form. But I can reflect this Love by remembering to let all my doing be guided by my Self that knows my oneness with Love.

So today I would hold in my mind the focus that all I want is to reflect God’s Love here. This is how I will awaken to the Love I am as God created me. I will step back and let Love lead the way. And if I forget and start believing the perceptions of the body, I will step back again to let Love lead the way. Practice, practice, practice. As a concert pianist learns his skill through dedicated practice, I will remember my Self through diligent practice of stepping back and following.
