The Joy of Love

Think of how it feels when you fall in love. It’s a joy to be with that person. You may even feel you want to spend the rest of your life with that person. You want to be with that person all the time.

Think about what it would be like to feel that way about everyone, without exception. Your days would be filled with joy and nothing could disturb your peace. You would see everyone as your dearest Friend.

All that stands between you and this experience is a false idea of what you are. You were created in joy by Love. But when you believe you are separate from this Love, joy is impossible. Sorrow follows you wherever you go while you think you are separate from the Love that created you. You are still this Love, though you are unaware of it.

To let this Love return to your awareness, you need to forgive yourself for the vain imagining that you are something other than Love. Let the Truth in you, the Holy Spirit, guide all your seeing today. Let Him help you see past the imagined forms of separation, lack and loss. Let Him help you see the Light of Love that is everywhere around you and in you. Let Him help you forgive yourself.

Today we again practice letting Holy Spirit guide all our seeing.
