We Are One Self

You are one Self, in perfect harmony with all there is, and all that there will be. You are one Self, the holy Son of God, united with your brothers in that Self; united with your Father in His Will. Feel this one Self in you, and let It shine away all your illusions and your doubts. This is your Self, the Son of God Himself, sinless as Its Creator, with His strength within you and His Love forever yours. You are one Self, and it is given you to feel this Self within you, and to cast all your illusions out of the one Mind that is this Self, the holy truth in you. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.95.13)

My opportunity today is to go to the sacred place in my mind where I can feel this one Self That I am and everyone is. The feeling of this one Self is infinite peace, Love and happiness. It is my opportunity today to allow myself to connect with the eternal truth and extend It to the world.

The eternal truth is very simple: Only Love is real. The nature of Love is to extend Itself eternally. To be my Self, I only need to extend Love without limit or exception. In this world, this unlimited extension seems difficult and even unjustified. But it only seems that way if I identify with a false image of myself that is separate from the whole.

So any time I do not experience the natural flow of Love through me, there is a need for me to forgive, to let go of a false image. I need to turn this over to the Voice for Truth in my mind to receive the help I need to recognize the false image for what it is. When falsity is recognized, it is freely let go.

Today I ask the Holy Spirit’s help to recognize what is false for what it is so that I may make room for the joy of Love. This is how I will have a happy day.
