Rosa Maria Wynn — a Life Dedicated to ACIM

The principal translator of ACIM into Spanish, Rosa Maria Wynn started her mission in 1983, completing the translation in 1993. Rosa Maria dedicated her life and all her resources to spreading A Course in Miracles to the world.

I met Rosa Maria in 1993. It was the first workshop on ACIM she had presented, in Spanish, in Puerto Rico. At that time I was a student of ACIM in nearly daily classes facilitated by Annie Arbona (today Aishmal).

One day, Aishmal told us about that workshop. I didn’t think much about it, being perfectly satisfied with Aishmal’s class. That night, I dreamed that my mother (who had recently made her transition) told me to wake up and to write down “Aurora Group”; she said in my dream that I was not going to remember these words the next day if I didn’t make a written note. When I ignored that suggestion, I awoke again with the same instruction from her: write down “Aurora Group.” Sleepily, this second time, I did so. The phrase meant nothing to me.
That very morning during the ACIM class Aishmal gave us a flyer that read: “Aurora Group presents Rosa Maria Wynn…” I had no doubts that my beloved mother was guiding me to go to the workshop. It transformed my life.

Snowy Veil

countless scraps of the

Holy Spirit Is My Guide in My Study of the Text

A few months ago I was inspired to begin a self-study of the Text of A Course in Miracles. In the past I tried reading it but found it dense and difficult to understand.

Since 2007 I’ve gone through the Course Workbook lessons several times, taking me sometimes up to two years to complete all 365 lessons; I’ve read the Teacher’s Manual, and studied parts of the Text randomly, on my own and in group settings.

The past few months now I spend about 20-30 minutes each morning with the Course Text. As I read a portion of it, I take notes in my notebook asking Holy Spirit to guide and reveal what I need to learn.

Spider Mouse

Many years ago we attended church in a very old church building. It was a beautiful building inside and out. Our Sunday school room was in the balcony. You had to walk through the upstairs pews to get to the door of the room.

One Sunday my daughter went ahead of us. She came back as we got to the last step and the landing and she had a very worried look on her face. When I asked her what was wrong, she very quickly told me that she had just seen a “spider-mouse” walking across the floor. This piqued my interest and I went to see if I could find this thing she called a “spider-mouse.” There, walking on the floor in front of me as only bats can do, was a little bat. I went to get someone else to trap him. The man who caught this little fellow did so very gently. He put a coffee can over the the top of his little head and slowly slipped a piece of cardboard underneath. He then took him outside and let him go.

Awakening Through My Special Relationships — Part 6

Beginning two and a half years ago, I had a series of articles published in Miracles News telling of my story of how Spirit had used specific special relationships to lead me to living a miraculous life. The last article left off alluding to the article that was to follow of Spirit’s use of the relationship I was currently in at that time in 2014 in which I experienced much hopefulness, for I was witness to so much healing of my past. I was hopeful that this relationship would reflect back to me my relationship with God.

But that article was delayed until now for I had taken a detour with this relationship and fell down the rabbit hole, following it to the very bottom, to the core of my unconscious guilt where I discovered my deepest, darkest fear lay buried.
